She asked for him to remove our son from her on a Wednesday morning, he said he could not do it that day and would not let another doctor do it. He wanted her to wait until the following Monday. He told my wife that "her pain would be the same" if it happened on Wednesday or if it happened on the Monday. That comment did not help anything. We chose to go to St. John's that day and they took such good care of us and we got to have some time with our son. That would not have happened if we had gone with Thompson's plan. Also, our son stopped moving on a Sunday, my wife had last seen Thompson on the Thursday before. It was a quick in and out. My wife said she was feeling weird and he just brushed her concerns off, and went on to the next patient. Very rude. Please stay away from him. Since this happened, we have had a daughter and we used Dr. Parham with St John's. The difference in the doctor and patient relationship was night and day compared to Thompson. Dr. Parham cared and checked everything on my wife that she needed and wanted. He also discovered what had happened during the prior pregnancy and that was very helpful. He found some issues with my wife and has honestly probably saved her life. Stay away from Thompson! God Bless!

They routinely made me wait 30-45 mins past my appt…read moretime, the nurse was incredibly rude and sent my refill to the wrong pharmacy 3 times, they forgot to order a progesterone re-check on my baby until I reminded them (even though I am a high-risk pregnancy due to multiple miscarriages), and just in general did not seem interested in the well-being of my baby. Then there was the billing nightmare. They ordered over 20 lab tests before they even knew if my insurance would cover them. When I asked the nurse if I could talk to their billing dept, she first told me that she did all the billing and was back-logged and did not have time, then she changed stories on a separate occasion and said she knew nothing about billing. Meanwhile- I now have $3,000 in lab fees that I only consented to part of. One of the tests I did not consent to or know about was a drug test, which I found incredibly insulting. I would avoid Dr. Shoun and Harvard Family Physicians at all costs.

My gynecologist informed me that was not the case when she asked who was my primary doctor and I responded..."Is that not you?". She quickly recommended Dr. Ashley Hildebrand and I tried to schedule an appointment with her not long after. She didn't have any immediate openings for new patients available but I didn't mind waiting a couple of months since there was no urgent issue. The building itself looks pretty new and they have plenty of waiting area in the lobby. Someone quickly checked me in and I didn't have to wait long to be seen. A nurse came in shortly after I was escorted to a room and went through the whole intake process. She was super nice and made me feel at ease. She also made note of things I told her I had questions about for the doctor. Shorty after, Dr. Hildebrand came in and she was lovely! She took the time to get to know me and answer some of my super basic questions. She made me feel very comfortable instead of awkward or embarrassed about my body. I highly recommend her! As if that wasn't enough, months after my appointment, she messaged me through their online messaging system following up on some issues I had mentioned. I felt so listened and cared for! The only reason I don't give it one more star was because the nurse that did my bloodwork was super cold and I didn't really know what was going on so I felt lost.
