The safety strap broke. I was upside down (all measurements) for centrical balance GONE. My feet slide out from the ankle grips, and to the floor I went. End result, landed on my head, severely tweaking my neck. " Fractured colar bone, 2 broken ribs close to the spine, bruised right lung". Went for physical therapy for over a year, it helped, but nowhere near what I received from Dr. Welch, he's been able to adjust my neck old school style, for which most Dr.'s would not. Manly because, the "Patient" will not relax properly, and stay that way for that style. The office is very pleasant and well located. The staff from walking in, receiving service, then leaving, seems exceptional, and professional. I am glad, that I never went to the appointment that I had for accupressure.

As a woman, I tend to be nervous to be alone in rooms with men I don't know, but Dr. Don was SO professional, and he left the door open as if he sensed my nervousness. He really hears you out and doesn't rush you - a rarity in the medical world * He works FAST and tells you what he's doing before/while he does it. He even tells you WHY he's doing what he's doing, which is cool for anyone interested in physiology. * Dr. Don chats with you and actually remembers the things you tell him. You can tell he's invested in his patients' lives and knows them well. * The place is clean and the receptionists are friendly. I thought the set-up was a little wonky at first, since it's one big open room with the chiropractic tables and I'm used to being in private rooms. I actually like and prefer this set-up. Something about it feels friendly. * Wait time is never too long, and you get in and out fairly quickly, even without an appointment.

Dr. Don was on vacation, so Dr. Shipley saw me and did something I never had done before. The result: I was totally fixed. So to sum up, both of these guys would be a good choice if you're needing some adjustment. Finally, one last note, they did move their office from near Costco on the north side of town, to the Oro Valley location. Since they moved in there, they do have an adjustment and that is shared with about eight other people. At first I didn't care for this, but since they are the only two in town that can get me back on track and in shape, I have adjusted to it :-).
