I had a sudden reaction to her prescribed medicine that she sent directly to my pharmacist. When I called her office once a day asking for medical advice my call was never returned. I finally reached her receptionist who offered to review my lab results. However, when I asked if she was medically licensed to do so her answer was "I will tell you the same thing that the doctor would". I asked for a call from Cheryl Abraham within 48 hours, she called from a blocked line on a Saturday. She said in the voicemail that I need to email her so she could call me. ....? Who answers blocked calls on any day and what medical pro calls late afternoon on a weekend with obscure instructions on how to reach her. Ps. It's wasn't until a removed review that suddenly within 20 minutes she emailed me. She accused me of being a person that goes to medical offices simply to give bad reviews. ??? I went to her from a referral for issues relating to my heart. Literally. She prescribed a solution prior to viewing her requested blood work that counteracted with a disclosed heart condition. Like I said. When I had the reaction to her prescription I called her once a day. Never heard back until I put my review online. Still no solution since won't return my calls. I was always polite. I do not endorse this person who I'm not an md contrary to what sources say she is. Buyer be Her response is the same. Calling this "games. My healthcare is not a game. And stop emailing me. You are harassing me. I simply stated facts. You did not respond until I posted my experience and then tried to bargain with me over trading work quid pro quo. No. You are not a doctor. So stop advertising as one. You're lucky I didn't report you. I saved every correspondence and I'm sure the majority would be shocked at what you put me through. I suggest you just leave me alone and admit you are in way over your head.

I have been a patient of Genesis from when they were doing business as Ironwood OB/GYN. In January…read more2025 I was scheduled for an ultrasound to address an issue that came up post-menopause. When I arrived at the Maternal-Fetal Medicine location on La Cholla, I was "greeted" by a most rude and unsavory reception staff, in particular the woman who handled taking my payment. I couldn't believe I was being dogged when all I did was walk in the door! This nasty woman told me that my out of pocket cost that day was $359.49 and I would need to pay it before the ultrasound. I pressed on and asked if she was sure that was what I owed and was firmly told yes and if I didn't pay it I would not be seen and of course I paid the $359.49. Two months later I received an EOB from my insurance provider and lo and behold my out of pocket for the testing was not $359.49 it was $111.00 proving the woman at the front desk was wrong and she was a creep and I wonder if she does this to all patients. Young ladies go in there with pregnancy complications, and gynecological health concerns and they're worried and scared and other woman may not have had the $359.49 available at that moment - what happens to those girls? Are they told that they can't be seen unless they pay their co-pay? I can stand up for myself and fortunately I had the funds to cover the purported co-pay but not everyone does! I contacted the Genesis billing office twice and received no response. Between the nasty receptionist and the lack of return calls from billing, I'm sad to think that the practice may be void of personal communication and attention to patient needs OTHER than medical.

However, my main complaint is getting or rescheduling appointments. It's almost impossible. I find myself playing phone tag to set things up. That can get very nerve wrecking. Overall, I would consider the office to be pretty good
