I have lost 23 pounds in let's say two months. I do think the combination of pills and shots put a damper on your impulses, stifling your cravings and hunger just enough to give you time to proactively make smarter food choices in keeping with your long-term goals versus eating when perhaps you're reacting emotionally (even if only feeling entitled) thus sabotaging your efforts. The diet itself is simple and really forces you to re-acquaint yourself with realistic portion sizes. Half a chicken breast in the George Foreman tossed in a salad. I used to eat two chicken breasts. That right there is a 75% reduction. Daily. Wow. I wouldn't say it's been easy - but nor would I say it's been hard. It just is. It's a diet. But it's doable. They corralled me back on the horse and I'm very hopeful to hang on 'til I reach my goal. I gave them a second chance - and it's working for me.

So I would lose interest and go back the enjoying life overweight. A friend said she lost 50lbs there and I knew I wanted to try, I needed help advice and guidance I could seem to find the right diet for me. Well after my consultation we went with RM3 and the low calorie no fat plan I thought no way I could do it sounded to restrictive, but couple weeks I. I started to get my groove on foods and cooking. I feel satisfied not hungry some days I only consumed 700-800 calories but the food choice I made were all filling I've lost 30lbs in 3 months which may not sound lie to much but that took me 3 year to put on so 3 months to lose it feels great to me. Overall I know it is me doing all the work but they gave the the push and advise for what direction I needed plus if your like me when you spend the money you are going to be more dedicated I think. Only 1 issue I did after 2 months have an adverse reaction to the RM3 pill burning mouth so I discontinued using it but I am still losing maybe a bit slower but that may be from me plateauing.

I've been going to Dr. Kimy Charani for about 12 years now. I think he's a very good doctor that…read morecommunicates well. But in the last year or so it seems his office staff has become increasingly difficult to deal with. Today I called about getting antibiotics for a potential sinus infection and was told I needed to be seen for that. They told me that Dr. Charani is leaving for vacation tomorrow and I could not see him--not only could I not see him but they wouldn't even let me leave a message for the doctor to call me. I've seen the nurse practioner Jennifer Gomez before and I really did not like her. I was told she had a cancellation for the next morning at 7am and not only is that very early for me, but as I said, I don't care for Jennifer Gomez at all. She acts like the "Medical Police" and you can only do what she commands you to do with no room for discussion. She's not who I want looking after me. Essentially after the office staff refused to allow me to leave a message for Dr. Charani to return my call, I was on my own and I had a horrible day. I tried going to a Walgreens Healtcare Clinic but their computers were down and no one could even tell me if they'd accept my Health Net PPO insurance. Plus there was about a 40 minute wait for me to see the one person in the clinic who could tell me anything. I decided to go home because I wasn't feeling that bad at that time of day. Later in the day I developed a slew of chain coughing fits that brought up some yellowish mucus with what looks like blood in it. So it looks like I will need to spend the night in discomfort coughing and hacking away until morining. The prices for Urgent and Emergency room care are such that I won't go there unless I become unconscious and my wife finds me and calls an ambulance. At any rate, my opinion of Dr. Charani and Pusch View Family Medicine has turned decidedly negative. The staff wouldn't even allow me to talk to the doctor, which to me is a deal breaker even if it is the day before his vacation. Fortunately I am changing my primary care physician for 2016.

I absolutely love Dr Lokale. He's a D.O. and is completely supportive of my working with a…read morefunctional medicine doctor who does more alternative things. He maintains eye contact when I'm talking, I feel he is fully present and attentive, and I never feel like he's impatient for me to just shut up so he can go see the next patient. The office staff, however, is a huge problem, and from what I've heard it's a widespread one. I can typically expect to have to make multiple phone calls to get the right information conveyed to my doctor; and even when they write things down there is often missing information, misinformation, etc. I've left messages requesting a call back and it can be days, weeks, or never. I've finally resorted to only dealing directly with the office manager, who seems more able to make sure things get done correctly -- but she shouldn't be having to do other people's jobs as well, so many things she's playing traffic cop for should be able to get done by the people who've been hired to do them. If I could have found another doctor who is as wonderful as Dr. Lokale, who's covered by my insurance, and who's within a couple of miles further away from my house, I would have left a long time ago, but so far Dr Lokale is worth the incredible hassle.

Two days later, I was called and advised I couldn't have two appointments, that I would need to be seen by a physician before the wellness exam. Okay, that's fine. I kept the appointment for October 1 and cancelled the other on September 28. I did not receive a reminder for the appointment on October 1 so I called to confirm two hours before the appointment. I was advised there is a note on my chart that states "no show" for an appointment their office cancelled for September 28, therefore, they could not reschedule me. Furthermore, they said the appointment scheduled for today was a "scheduling error." Now i'm left with no appointment, a note that prohibits them from rescheduling due to a "no show," and back to square one, except this time it's urgent. I need the wellness exam to continue with my medications. One last point, the person I spoke to was aggressive and rude and obviously defensive that the mistake was on their end. No thank you. I was first seen by LeAnne who was very pleasant and informative. Then Cheryl came in and explained natural hormone replacement to us. I believe Cheryl really cares about your health and will spend as much time as needed with you, which is something I've never had with a doctor. I've been looking for someone that wants to keep you naturally healthy instead of prescribing chemical and/or synthetic drugs that destroy your way of life, and I found her. I have been struggling with menopause for the past five years. She is the first that had me feeling better within days of my visit!! Yes, they do take insurance plans, but that plan might not cover everything. It's not her fault that the male dominate insurance companies will not pay for natural hormone replacement.
