Good folks when your buying a truck. Doug the sales guy was a big help after we totaled our old…read moretruck after a deer didn't like the paint color & decided to take out the front end. Got a 2020 Used Ram 1500. Nice truck for the price. Service Dept. BITES BIG TIME:::. Outside mirror came off, took it in, fixed pretty quick-just vibrates a little at upper speeds-NO BIG DEAL-MINOR issue. Did their survey. Gave them a 4 of 5. Service manager called up day or so later saying they got in trouble cause I gave them a 4. I said VERY CLEARLY on the survey that the vibrating wasn't a big deal. He said they had to get perfect scores or they got into trouble with Dodge. DIY an oil change over Christmas. Drain plug looks like whoever did the last change used an impact hammer on it. All chewed up to the point I'm not touching it. Called their service Dept. about cost to get it off so I can finish up. I got the new oil. Filter change already done. CHAD service advisor told me it was going to cost $179.95 to TRY. Might have to get a whole new pan. It's all on their tape for "quality assurance ". I called parts store. Brand NEW Pan with Gasket, New pan bolts AND plug total out the door $104.96 tax included. BEFORE any discounts. Used sales may be Ok but man their service Dept. sure does like ripping people off. I'm not sending anyone there for anything Folks you decide what to do, I'm just stating facts to what they did to me & my family.

It was close to closing when we were finished, as we were driving home (a 2.5 hour drive mind you) the check engine light came on about 15 to 30 minutes into our drive. My fiancé immediately texted the salesman and let him know and they said they would try to get it in. We get home and he checks the code and it has something to do with the DEF system so he texts again and gets the same reassurance that they will try to get it in so my fiancé clear the code in fear of the truck going into "limp mode" (we have never had a diesel before). I go to Wichita for work sometimes and knew he was still waiting on them to get back to him so I stopped back in in my way home and told the shop lady our issue and I was clearly not happy, she set and appointment for today. We are now stuck with the cost of getting a def pump replaced (most likely over $2000) and in my opinion they should have know about this issue if they properly serviced this truck before selling it. We paid over $30k and expected it to be at least a while before having to do anything major. I will be getting a new vehicle in a couple years and WILL NOT be looking there at any point. I suggest you go somewhere else because I want to save people the headache we are dealing with! Do better!

DO NOT PURCHASE WITH DON HATTAN!!…read more I have been a service customer with Don Hattan for the past 2 years and decided to do a trade in. I am completely disappointed with the sales department. I had purchased a new vehicle with them and came to a point where this vehicle just wasn't an option for me. I tried for 2 weeks to get a hold of the finance department to cancel warranties. The fact it took them two weeks to get back to me is unacceptable. once I received a call back, they deferred me to sales department about trading in the new vehicle. which I work for a dealership so I am aware how cancelling warranties would take away money from them. But at the end of the day, it shouldn't matter what takes away from the sales department it should always be they do what is in the best interest of the customer. I spoke with my salesman, and I discussed that the bronco was not an option to own any longer due to personal issues. I clearly discussed that rolling over a large amount of negative equity is not an option for me. Now I understand when trading in before the vehicle is paid off some negative equity would be rolled into a new loan. Completely understand. But rolling over 20,000 in negative equity is outrages. I mentioned I was looking for a lower more affordable payment. His recommendation was to roll over the 20,000. I went ahead and reminded him that's not an option for me. His second recommendation was to buy the 22,000 Mazda and also pay on the Bronco! So therefore, have two vehicle loans. Clearly, he wasn't understanding my needs or just didn't care. I then told him that's obviously not an option and I don't see how that helps my situation, if anything it worsens my situation. I thanked him for his time, but I will be cancelling my warranties and to have the finance department contact me. I did not receive a call from finance nor was I able to reach them. So, then the sales manager contacted me asking if there was anything he could do to help so I referred him to my previous text messages I had with his salesman. So then I asked if he could personally call me to discuss further and come to a conclusion that is in the best interest for myself. I've been currently waiting two days for a call from the sales manager still no contact. Typical from them. They just keep ignoring me or telling me he's busy! So since Finance department never contacted me I had to contact my warranty company and cancel directly with them. I do not appreciate the tip toeing around and avoiding me and the fact they aren't willing to keep me as a customer. The lack of communication, understanding and avoidance is ridiculous. I will not be going back for service or purchasing a vehicle, nor will I recommend anyone to this dealership.

A few days after that, the check engine light came on with "fuel sensor failure" notice on the dashboard. The next eight days were spent trying to get someone to call me back about the issue. On Oct. 4th, someone finally reached out. Took the truck in on Oct. 6th. The diagnosis was front differential, CV axles, fuel gage, and fuel pump. Don Hattan had my truck for 8 days and I got it back, it is still not fixed properly. It took me three more days to get someone to call me back for a resolution. This in addition to several misrepresentations during the buying and financing process. I've asked that the loan be rescinded due to the gross misrepresentations during the buying process and for selling a vehicle with major mechanical issues. They've decided that keeping the loan in tact is more important than doing what's morally sound and satifying the customer. I'll be going at this from a different angle going forward. Buyer beware!
