Doug and the guys quickly diagnose our issue, which allowed us to make some big decisions about fixing or trading our van.

When my car broke down and I was stuck on the side of the road, he still went beyond his mechanic duties to check on me and offered me a ride home free of charge with the help of his colleague Mr Dustin. Mr Derek does not upsell and does not give BS; he is transparent and candid about the diagnosis process, the repairs, and the quotes. He offered to run simple tests on batteries and inspections of the car for me for free. He also responds quickly to requests, questions via Yelp and phone. My alternator of the car was bad and Mr Derek gave me two options: remanufactured and OEM. He clearly explained what the pros and cons of each one and respected my decision. The issue was fixed within 2 days. The value is reasonable. And Mr Derek takes really good care of his customers. I highly highly recommend him.

Derek was great and the work was completed as requested to my 100% satisfaction. Lots of leaves and clutter had apparently blown into the garage so my first impression of the shop was not so good. However, Derek's attitude and the quality of work as well as a fair price made the visit a good one. Finally, the area has plenty of places to grab a bite to eat or get a cup of coffee while you wait.

I took my car in to a large chain business who changed my tire and put a bent rim back on even though I had a new one there for them to replace it with as well as sold me 2 new tires that were still very good (they were both at a 6, obviously I have educated myself on tire tread since then) They also let me drive out of their shop with a loud noise coming from the tire they were working on and never mentioned it to me. My husband told me to call Tracy's and I decided to try them out. They were very honest with me and kept me updated on the progress being made on my car. They were the ones who found the bent rim and said they didn't feel comfortable with putting me back on the road with a tire that didn't have a good seal. The loud noise ended up being a broken strut which was fixed and rides like new again. How that could have been missed by the other company is beyond me. They took good care of me, found the needed parts as quickly as possible, and their prices are fair. The fact that I was not taken advantage of as a female means a lot to me. I will definitely be making them my go to automotive shop.

I made the mistake of taking my ford work van to them because they are close enough for me to walk home after dropping my vehicles off. I've had issues in the past with their service when they installed a radius arm bushing in backwards on my bronco. but this time I had a coolant leak. they told me it was a plug on a cylinder head and the parts alone would be over 4500.00 but they didn't have the tools needed to repair a cylinder head. I took it to Meyers. the problem had nothing to do with the cylinder head and total cost for parts and repair was 1700.00 Tracy's charged me a diagnostic fee for the wrong diagnosis. Don't waste your money with these guys.

Of course, they found something else wrong with my car and I ended up with a $700 bill. The labor was only a couple of hours, but I paid a lot for it. In addition, they charged me another $170 for another diagnostic. Most places give you zero dollars for a diagnostic, especially when it was their fault it broke And you paid to have there.

UPDATE: After posting this review, Will called me from Myer's and wants to have a chance to make…read moresure I'm totally satisfied and have the information I was wanting. Original review: I took my 2005 Pontiac to the West Wichita location for a wheel alignment check. When they said they don't make appointments for alignments because they "want to have plenty of time to spend with the vehicle", I knew where this was going. I dropped the car off in the morning and, by mid-afternoon, they texted me a list of several thousand dollars' worth of recommended repairs, including many things that had nothing to do with the alignment...just normal wear items on a 160K-mile car. They didn't pressure me to have the repairs done, but they recommended not doing the alignment unless one very expensive repair was completed. Ok, now...I have owned this car since it was brand new and it's been very well maintained, it drives straight and tight, and has been extremely reliable; but an old car is naturally going to have wear, I get it. I do appreciate them not just selling me an alignment that wasn't going to last. And I'm not saying their list was inaccurate regarding the worn parts. The thing is, I didn't take the car in for a full upsell appraisal. I took it in for an alignment check. And in the end, they couldn't even provide me with a printout of the current alignment readings! (Did they ever even check the alignment? IDK, there's no record of it). That was very disappointing to me and not what I paid them for.
