It was not only affordable; but they dropped me off and picked me up because of my only car being serviced. They was able to get it done same day for which I'm very grateful. read more

Great Service/Fast Repair. Would recommend them for your needs. I was very pleased with their work.

I've done business with them before and they charge a good rate for mounting balancing tires, so that is why I took my car in for AC repair, I explained to them that it has extended warranty, and they said that the warranty will not pay for Freon or the actuator, and I said I understood, the next they called me saying total comes to $219 and change, they did the work without even telling how much it was going to be and to confirm weather to do the work or not , when I get there they tell me that the total was $244 and change, I said I was told the total was $219, then he said that was without tax, the Technician even had the Audacity of telling me that the warranty company was not my friend, and they charge me more than $200 for AC recharge, outrageous rate for a 30 - 45 min job, be warned!!! oh yeah they even told me that the motor oil was low and that is why I hear a rattling sound, they do unauthorized work but they can't even add a quart of oil, especially after charging so much for recharging the Freon I know where I'm not going when my engine goes out and the extended warranty will pay that somewhere else!!! read more

I really like these guys. First off the owner straight up loves America! That's all I really needed. However, one time I called early knowing they wouldn't be open just to leave a message and learned the owner has all calls transferred to his personal cell! Great business! read more

Autosmarts keeps my fleet on the road. We have 7 vehicles in the family and we trust no one else to keep our autos running right.

I took my truck in because it wouldn't start. They told me I needed new battery cables which is fine. They charged me $200 for diagnosis and $100 for new cables and $200 for installation. Which seemed fair. Until I got home and realized instead of replacing my cables they cut them and spliced them about 15 inches from the battery. Which means I paid $200 for about 10 minutes worth of work. So beware if they are to lazy to run a new cable from my battery to my starter that only involves removing one bolt. What short cuts are they doing to your car? read more

I have been a customer of Auto Smart for many years and I have given the benefit of the doubt in a few situations that have occurred where others would have walked away and never returned. I took my vehicle in at 8am June 30, 2022 to have the techs look at previous work that they had done at Auto Smart that the dealership said was the issue. Anyhow my vehicle is always clean and very well taken care of both inside and out. After being called and being told my vehicle was ready for pick up, I was shocked at the condition my car was in. It was absolutely filthy both inside and outside like someone went for joy ride in my vehicle on a dirt road. I walked back into the building and asked what in the world happened to my vehicle and was told nothing so I asked Zach to come and see what I was talking about and all I was told was that my vehicle was driven by his little brother and he must have went down a dirt road. In total my gas was under half a tank when prior to top off it was slightly under 3quarters of a tank. I'm sorry this is never ok. I pamper my vehicles and I have never taken it on a dirt road. This is horrible customer service returning my car in this filthy condition then I'm suppose to go and wash it? Not how you treat a customer that has been giving you business for over 10 years. I'm not sure what's happen since Scott hasn't been at this location and his children run it now but, it's not a way to keep my business. SMH guys read more

After dealing with many different auto shops, Auto Smart was a breath of fresh air! Friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely wanting to help. I called early in the morning and was greeted and treated nicely and all of my questions regarding repairs were answered knowledgeably. No early morning attitude! Even though I came from out of town, they were still able to get our auto in and out on the same day and at a very reasonable price to boot! This shop has earned another loyal and satisfied customer. read more

Over a year ago the dealership told me I need about $2,000 worth of repairs to have it ready for a trip to Colorado. I took it to my neighborhood shop and they didn't think I needed all that work, but could assess it completely as they are not a full repair place -- they recommended Auto Smart. Am I ever glad I went! They went over the car thoroughly and explained why they agreed with the dealer ship AND when they differed they explained why. Having little money for unexpected car repairs they helped me figure out what I must do before the trip and what could wait. They even helped arrange financing for the repairs. The were courteous, patient and professional in all their interactions. They were quick and finished when promised. I have been back ever since then, including when I was looking at buying a vehicle. The mechanics found about a $1,000 worth of repairs needed and recommended that I mot buy it unless the dealership would do the repairs or lower the price by $1200. Thanks to them, I was firm that the problems be fixed 1st or price lowered or I'd walk. I got the car, after they made the necessary repairs! Oh, they also warrant their work, don't find that often. They are the 1st repair shop that I am confident that the work they recommend is needed, that the work will be done correctly, and the price fair. (And I'm 60 years old). read more

The techs were nice, friendly, didn't give me the run around. Got my BMW up and going in a timely manner.

I had a problem on the way in to work one morning. I exited Central and stopped at the first place I saw, Auto Smart. I knew nothing about them but they were quick, courteous, helpful, and more. They quickly diagnosed the problem, secured the parts, and got the job done. Neat and professional. They have instantaneously become my "go to" place in Wichita! read more

Worst automotive business ever. Will not recommend any there services ever again. Car was taken to have transmission looked at. By the time said and done was a $3000.00 bill. Looked over the ticket engine mounts, transmission mounts, clutch kit, crankshaft gaskets. The parts where way over prices engine mounts $75 to $120 dollars there's over 4 charges of just that. When they price for engine mount runs around $20 clutch kit $248, crankshaft main seal $891. Ridiculous racking up a bill that much for a car that isn't even worth $1000.00. Someone with right mind should of stopped up and told them what all this was going and cost before doing work. Parts alone are worth more then what the car is . Yes the owner should've also known there self. But when its a grand child and his grandmother that paid for it is just wrong for company not to speak up and give some advice. Before even starting to work on it. Grandmother had no clue till it was done and used her credit card. On top of that shes stuck with a $3000 bill for a car that's not worth $1000 and its sitting in front of her house with clutch issues. What it was original reason it was taken to shop for. read more

We stopped here while traveling through with a flat tire on our trailer. They were quick, professional, and friendly! Thank you!

So originally I went there through a friend's recommendation. They were said to be honest and fair. Neither of those I have found to be true. My front ac was out in my Van they stated that they changed out my wire as it was corroded. Well a day later my ac went out again I called them and had them look over it they told me that a bunch of my wires were corroded and I would have too look at replacing the entire fuse box on my van. That was a lie I am pretty decent at working on my own car so I got a manual and a wire diagram. I pulled my box out found no corroded or replaced wires all wires matched the original diagram in color. Also found that they broke a piece on my fuse box along with not properly hooking the wires back to my fuse box. They are scam artists whatever you do don't go there. That was a huge waste of 143.00 I ended up fixing it myself and It is working perfectly! read more

Almost everyone in Kansas depends on their vehicle for transportation. As we continue to drive it is inevitable that our vehicles will eventually need maintenance. The ASE certified professionals at Auto Smart will ensure that your vehicle receives the necessary repairs to get you back on the road. The owner, Scott, maintains the strictest standards when it comes to maintenance being performed on your vehicle. If you are looking for a Band-Aid job or shady maintenance that will have you back in the shop next week then please go elsewhere. In addition, the professionals at Auto Smart actually care about you as a person. While waiting for maintenance to be performed on my vehicle I witnessed the owner continually work with people to solve their problems. Scott took the time to listen to people's concerns, provide recommendations and help them come up with payment plans. I won't sit here and bash other companies or dealerships but I have "been to the shop" multiple times within my life. In all those times I have never felt genuinely cared about or respected until I went to Auto Smart. The owner and selfless mechanics will stand behind their maintenance performed and stand behind you as a customer. It would be foolish on your part to take your vehicle anywhere else. read more

Very professional with competent, certified and experienced mechanics. Shop is kept clean. I was impressed with how quickly, even with the computer assist, they were able to diagnose and explain to me the rather involved repairs needed. In just a few hours my 2002 Ranger with it's Mazda engine was purring smoothly. The front desk is managed by an obvious mechanic and his communication bolstered my confidence in the shop. read more

Our alternator (Toyota sienna) stopped Working near Wichita while driving to ks from TX. No one in the area seemed to carry the part or had time to fix the car for us today . We were being told to leave the car behind on every phone call we made. Scott and Zach at autostart not only agreed to fix the car for us, but also carried the part, they pointed us to a place to eat while they took care or our vehicle and now we r back on the road a few hours later. Thanks again from us and the two little ones read more
