Tom Williams, the store manager, tested it and it did read good, and most people would have stopped right there. He didn't. He thought the grease on the terminals was melting in the heat and making a bad connection, and while he was cleaning them up he pulled the cover and found the battery in the van wasn't even the type on the label. Somebody had put a cheaper unit in at some point. He retested it against what it actually was and it came back failing. I live about two hours away and my mother drives that van every day, so getting it right on the first trip mattered. Tom laid out the AGM options, told me straight what the extra money on the four-year buys you, and let me make the call. I picked up wiper blades for her while I was there and he offered to put them on for her if she has any trouble with them. He chased the problem down instead of clearing the counter. That's rare anywhere, and it's why this store is my first stop for parts whenever I'm in Mount Pleasant. Thanks, Tom.

I've had plenty of experiences with different auto parts stores, but Napa Auto Parts takes the…read moreprize for being the absolute worst in the country. Customer service should be about respect, knowledge, and helping people get what they need for their vehicles. Instead, I was met with rudeness, unprofessionalism, and even verbal insults. No customer should ever be called a "bitch" when they're simply trying to purchase parts. That level of disrespect is unacceptable in any business, let alone one that claims to serve hardworking people who rely on their cars. Beyond the insult, their prices are higher than competitors, their inventory is unreliable, and the staff seems more interested in dismissing customers than helping them. After this experience, I will never return to Napa Auto Parts. If you want to be treated with basic human decency, avoid this place at all costs.

An absolute horrible experience. Wright Autoworks was recommended and had good reviews. Having…read morespoken with John I initially felt that I had found a competent and honest repair shop so I decided to drop off my car to resolve some electrical issues I had with some interior lights and my telescopic steering column not extending. I paid several hundred dollars for a diagnostic on the electrical system. While at it I had some pin hole leaks in the cooling system which required attention. I paid for a pressure test which confirmed the leak and a possible need for a water pump. Their quote for a water pump and incidentals was over $4,000.00. Note: the going rate for Jaguar water pump replacement range from $800 to $1,000.00! Additionally and although I did not ask for a quote for any suspension work I was quoted over $22,000.00 for a total suspension rebuild even though the car is not experiencing any noticeable suspension issues! Obviously I declined these quotes but decided to go ahead and have them repair the interior lights and steering column which was my main concern. Low and behold and after over two weeks and over $2,000.00 the only thing which was repaired was a single light bulb! No kidding. The steering column still does not extend, a short effecting the lights in the vanity mirrors was not repaired and the missing dome light was not replaced as requested leaving a hole in the headliner. What I learned at a cost of over $2,000.00 is to never go back to Wright Auto Works and I encourage you to do the same.
