He gave me an estimate, scheduled me within a very short time, and completed the job ahead of schedule. The cost was very reasonable. Pat was such a pleasure to work with. I cannot express enough, to stay far away from Classic Collision. It started out w very poor communication from their estimator David Squitieri, and only got worse. After an extremely long repair, for minimal items. Was told my vehicle was complete. Verifying my vehicle had been given an alignment prior to pick up, I was told they thought it had been done, but had to get back to me. They rushed to get an alignment done due to they had not done one after front end work. I arrived the next day to pick up my vehicle, stating it was complete. Upon taking possession of my vehicle, first thing was a check engine light on, as well as my steering wheel being was completely out of alignment. I returned immediately to bring attention to David. David specifically told me, that Classic Collision uses 3rd party companies for certain repairs (alignment), due to they are a body shop. I was told by David, that Classic Collision has No control over their vendors as far as doing a good job. This was specifically for the alignment. As a business owner I felt this was unreal that an employee would tell me they use sub par outfits to do maintenane/repair jobs on customers vehicles, and they have no control over there work performance. I contacted the company that supposedly did the alignment on my vehicle. Only to be told they in fact did Not do the alignment on my vehicle. So it was done in-house, and David passed the buck as if the other shop did this. After being lied to to my face, I realized this was only going to get worse, it Did. Returned next day to pick up truck, again. Couldn't deal w this shop's inability any longer. Had to leave town shortly after, and drive this truck w trailer 2000 miles cross country. After 800 plus miles into the return trip, pulled in late night to get fuel. Pulling into fuel station, turned left and my steering wheel, and wheels were Locked in a full left turn. My truck was now stuck in this fully locked left position. After looking under the drivers side steering assembly. Noticed an Unbelievable oversight by Classic Collision, their technician that "aligned" the truck's steering wheel NEVER re tightened the bolts for the steering arm. This then caused the coupling to rotate roughly 210 degrees, and the bolts were forced over steel plate, and locked wheels left (pics included). If this had been at highway speeds, and turned left over an overpass, or for any other reason. This would have "locked", and forced me into a god knows kind of accident. this is not just a little oversight, but should be a dismissal of your duties as a technician. With onlookers help, due to I was now blocking traffic, and stuck in a full left position. was able to spin the locking collar back close enough, and tightened the bolts that were left loose. Proceeded on w the drive, after making it the full 2000 miles. Noticed Oil, and other fluids now leaking from where I just had repairs done. I have since had to re pay a local shop to fix the issues, correctly I might add. Please be advised, this is not a shop anyone should be taking their vehicle to, to have ANY work done on it. Bad shop, poor communication, poor repairs, as well as being lied to, beware you've been warned.

The paint and body repairs look excellent, and from the outside the vehicle looks great. Unfortunately, the condition of my vehicle when it was returned was extremely disappointing. The entire interior was covered in sanding dust from the body shop. Dust was on the seats, dashboard, vents, and throughout the cabin, and the inside of the vehicle still smells like a body shop. My Jeep was brought in clean and well cared for, but it was returned in a condition that felt careless and unacceptable. My biggest concern is that this fine dust has been circulating through the vehicle, raising concerns about what I am now breathing in while driving. When I brought this to their attention, the response I received was simply that they would "wipe it down" because they do not have a detailing department. For a vehicle returned in this condition, that response did not feel adequate. Quality bodywork is important, but so is respecting a customer's vehicle. Based on my experience, anyone using this shop for body repairs should strongly consider negotiating enough off the final bill to have the vehicle professionally detailed afterward, because the cleanup standard here fell far below what should be expected.

My daughter's car was diagnosed with some MAJOR Repairs at the dealership with a price tag to…read morematch. I have been taken advantage of in the past at other dealerships so I tend to not trust them (example: I was quoted a $400+ extensive repair only to learn somewhere else that I needed a $75 relay part with less than $100 in labor). Our neighbors recommended Performance Auto to us so I brought the car over there. Pricing aside, the guys there are so great (I've mostly dealt with Chris). I felt like I was being spoken to honestly and treated with respect. My daughter's car was successfully repaired in a timely manner and we were very happy. Weeks later, MY car breaks down days after a 100K mile service, costing over $700 at the dealership which repaired it. I had the car towed back to the dealership to find out what had gone wrong only to be given a new diagnosis with a major repair of well over $1000. I decided to instead have the car towed over to Performance Auto. They confirmed that the diagnosis was correct but also gave me some other important information and recommendations around the repair that the dealership failed to mention at a much higher price tag!! So I had 2 cars in 6 weeks, all around the holidays, that had major repairs completed at Performance Auto. I paid significantly less (25-30%), was treated with respect and communicated with throughout. Unless we have a recall that requires us to take our cars to someplace else, Performance Auto is our new go to guys!
