Jeanice was so nice and although they did not have the tree in-stock, she knew what I was talking about and took the time to call her suppliers to find the trees I was looking for. Donnie, her husband, went the extra step to inspect the trees to make certain they were "worth it" before we made our purchase. Now that is customer service. The have just started out so the nursery is small but they are happy to order what you are looking for. Jeanice is a wiz with plants and will offer great advice if you ask. They have a beautiful selection of knock out roses and I could not resist the orange bloom, which I planted in my front yard. I purchased a milkweed as well, to attract beautiful butterflies. ***Consumer beware***…read more This is my second review for this company. My first review was a 3 star because of the quality of work all around. I had three mini splits installed in my upstairs bedrooms. Compressor is located in the backyard. My initial install was done in 2022. I was quoted around $13,000 for 3 heads and install. They finished the install in two visits and there was minor damage to my house but wasn't forthcoming in telling me. I witnessed it myself on my ADT camera. Since the initial install I've had them come approximately 5-6 times over the years, specifically for one unit that Louis said was an 'upgrade' for free. That free unit has been the bane of my existence. I called them multiple times to fix the same issue and I was continuously told that there wasn't anything wrong, that it was working properly. Each visit came with a service fee of around $165. There was an obvious difference in temperature in the room even with the cool fan blowing high. It would take a several hours to cool down the whole room. The other two didn't have that issue and blew cool air immediately. I got fed up and called another company to come check it out. The unit in fact had an issue at the compressor. The line was not screwed on all the way and it was leaking oil. There was also evidence of oil on the ground. The freon had leak to almost half of what it was supposed to be. 4Winds came to investigate AFTER I had to do some convincing that it was an issue on the install. I called several times because they don't always call back. I had to send pictures that the other company provided to help me with evidence of the readings. 4Winds came to fix the issue and the new tech in fact DID see the issue with the leak as soon as he looked at the compressor. He tightened all the screws, refilled the freon and it "magically" blew cool air like the other two heads. The units were not installed in ideal locations within the rooms. Two of them sit low on the wall and the problematic unit impedes a full door swing. Now that unit is leaking water and the carpet is wet all the time. I called back the same company that identified the issue and wouldn't you know...he went inside the attic and saw that there was tape around the PVC. The moisture and dripping of water is seeping through the wall which is causing my carpet and the wood floor underneath it to be wet all the time. The room smells like mildew and we have had to use the wet vacuum to get all the water we can. There is evidence of mold on the baseboard underneath the unit and the carpet is coming up in the corner and alongside the baseboard. I now have to get the leak fixed, baseboard treated or replaced and carpet treated as well. Shop around! Question everything they say. Get second and third opinions. Watch everything that they are doing and don't let them convince you to get mini splits when all they had to do was rework your ductwork!

Considering the old age of the system, a known defect (evaporator coil leakage) and previous replacement of that same coil only lasted a few years, I decided to proceed with a complete HVAC system change-out. Tom then presented different options available, their features and associated price without any sales pressure. The entire process was pleasant. After comparing quotes from other companies, I chose Pleva AC & Heat due to their reputation, pricing, features offered and extensive knowledge. The exact date I selected for the HVAC install the entire team showed up precisely on-time and proceeded to lay down protective mats to ensure no flooring was damaged. They knew precisely how to setup the system and worked very efficiently. Their attention to detail was great. They took great care working in our house even vacuuming the surrounding area after completing the task. Afterwards, Tom spent considerable time thoroughly checking out the installation. Ok, we got a problem. I went outside and noticed that the fan was running but did not hear the compressor. I turned everything off, gave it a few minutes and tried again, nothing. So I came into the garage and called the number of the company that installed the unit 5 years ago. After 20 minutes on hold she took down some info, pushed a $30 a month maintenance plan on me and when I asked when they would be out she said tomorrow between 3-10PM. WHAT? I called for 24 hour service, no thanks. I then checked my neighborhood Facebook page and C&M Repairs kept coming up. I called and spoke with Cory. I told him my AC was down and he said he would be over within an hour, he was at another job. One hour later he shows up and begins diagnosing the issue. Within 5 minutes he finds a burnt capacitor, replaces it and I have air conditioning again. The whole time I was outside with him and he was chatting me up, friendly as can be. I told him I will be calling tomorrow to schedule a cleaning and regular maintenance. Companies like this are one in a million these days. I cannot recommend him enough.
