Our realtor told us the inspection would take about two hours. He was there for over four hours. He rearranged items all over the house and did not put things back in place. He literally threw kitchen towels on the floor. He removed items from closets and did not replace them. If you find out this company is coming to do an inspection on behalf of a potential buyer, please ask your realtor to request another inspector. If that's impossible, then take plenty of pictures ahead of time so you have proof of what your house looks like before he arrives.

His inspection report includes video footage of cameras in the pipes, up the chimney, and good photos of every issue of concern that they identified--evidence of rodents, some odd wiring in the electrical panel, some missing insulation on some wiring, and a complete inspection of the roof and exterior finishes. I liked that he explained what sorts of issues were really important to have a licensed contractor address immediately, and those other issues that were just making us aware of the situation or might need to be addressed in the future.
