I applied for a job with this company on their website. A few weeks later I was asked to come in at…read more9 am to complete the next steps. I was asked to fill out some forms and provide information that I already provided in the online application, in addition to taking a math test. While I did not like the redundancy, this was not a major problem so I filled out the forms. Afterwards I needed to use the washroom, so I asked where the washroom was at. I was told that I was not allowed to use their washroom, and the person helping me asked if I had transportation so that I could use a washroom somewhere else and come back. I was also told this was a policy set by the owner. I was very appalled and informed the person helping me that I was no longer interested. My experience with BP Staffing was a huge disappointment. If they can't let applicants use their washroom, perhaps this is a hint about how they treat their workers. This was a big waste of my time, and I can only hope that the owners take my advice by allowing applicants to use their washrooms, in addition to improving their information system so that applicants don't need to submit the same information twice.

I never had official training yet was put on assignments and expected top notch performance while the other girls in the office, including the branch manager, played on their cell phones all day long waiting in frantic anticipation for the owner to show up. The owner is the biggest drama queen I have ever met and will be condescending to your face while wearing a smile...not to mention, she will twist everyone's words and try to get everyone upset with each other. There is no sense of company morale or teamwork -more so, everyone out for themselves. Also, I've never witnessed so much discrimination in my life. If you're looking for a staffing company to help you get hired, know that BP Staffing selects field employees based on race and will not hire women. When I was hired I was told I would work M-F 8-5 with an hour lunch. That lasted a couple weeks before I wasn't allowed a lunch anymore and was working 10+ hour days without a raise. The other girls followed suit and felt I was out of line for mentioning the work times minus lunch. All in all, I actually made less money working here and shouldn't have left my previous job. I could go on and on with how corrupt this place is and how unhealthy the work environment is. Just take my advice and look elsewhere! Quitting this job was the most rewarding part of it.

One day they call me in the morning to tell there is no work at 3pm they call me to say if I could come in its an emergency so I drop my mom at home after finishing groceries and went straight to work so much for loyalty. Maybe thats why I see only one review surprised the relatives who were given the jobs did not write a good review spoke to the other co-workers and they were going thru the same thing. My first day I was loading trailers and the boxs were 50lbs I now work for Lyft and had a passnger who works at a staffing agency she told me max for lifting was 30lbs???

I am writing this review as a warning to anyone who is thinking about contracting with this company…read moreor its owner/president as a 1099 contractor. My experience with them has been less than professional. After submitting my resume for review, they submitted it to a client without my permission. The result of this action was that my resume got submitted twice, which in this industry is be a huge mistake. This mistake also created a conflict of interest for both the manager of the client company and me. Second, there was never full disclosure as to what I would be responsible for paying for to get on the project. Third, their original 1099 contracting agreement required me to wait five days to get paid after Training Affairs got paid from the client and did not include a default clause should I not get paid after 5 days. Third, on-boarding paperwork took two weeks to complete and was always sent at the end of the week, dribbled a little piece at a time and it was expected that the paperwork was to be completed by the following Monday. Fourth and most importantly, a representative of the company sent an email, which in essence, asked me to commit fraud or work for free on my personal time. In each case, their response was "sorry, won't do it again." According to the president of the company, this company has been in business for six years. If this is the way they do business after six years, I can only speculate on the experiences other people have had. Before you contract with this company, think very carefully whether or not you are willing to put up with their unprofessional behavior.

It is apparent their business practices and work ethic are below satisfactory and in need of more experienced staff to deal with issues, business matters, paperwork, etc., in a timely matter. I've had to email and call multiple times to get a response on the status of a job offer. I am glad to read others have had better experiences with this company, however, I am not confident the 5 stars weren't written by Training Affairs employees. Edit: This is one example of how unprofessional Training Affairs is, note spelling and grammar errors: "Our attorny has sent a request to Yelp to obtain an official copy of your post and IP information. If you are unable to prove your claims regarding your alleged interactions with you and your spouse and Training Affairs we will ask the courts for relief in the form of punitive damages and reimbursement of all costs and attorney fees.
