Before each interview, they sent me a very thorough prep-sheet. They spent a lot of time on the phone with me getting to know my preferences and career goals. They made contact with me before and after every interview to provide guidance and process the experience. I know they are super busy, but it felt like I was their only client. Also, there was a sense of fun about working with them! I'd utilized three other recruiting agencies before I found them and I'd come to expect poor service and constant checking in to remind them to work for you. My experience at The Chicago Hire Company was completely different. They are excellent and I can't recommend them enough!

She has been a constant help to me, even referring my husband to an agency which specializes in IT recruitment. She has been understanding and extremely helpful throughout this daunting relocation process and while my current position is a long term contract position, which may or may not go permanent, I have total confidence that I can count on her for assistance when my position ends. Summit Chicago Staffing is an excellent resource and if they can't help you directly, it seems that they know someone who can.

I can honestly say that I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for Lakeshore. I'd tried other…read moretemp agencies but was never treated as well and with such personal interest as I was at Lakeshore. I've been a temp for two different periods in my life. One was over six years ago. I temped for them for over a year through many different assignments, and I was regularly given work. They knew I was reliable and they could count on me to treat the client as though I was extension of their company. That entire time I was looking for a permanent position, and they were able to get work for me regularly. Eventually a job opened up that was a great fit for my experience and where I wanted to go that happened to be at a company I had temped for previously. The company was filling the position through Lakeshore, and the company knew they like having me when I was a temp. So, I was a shoe in! I got the job, got experience, and got promoted into different positions within different departments. Flash forward five years. I find myself in a different job that eventually became a completely wrong fit for me. In December of 2009, I left that job with no plan other than trying to temp for work again. I called several connection and had called multiple placement and temp companies including Lakeshore. Two months later a job came up that Lakeshore knew was a good fit for me, and that I would be a good fit for the company. I was hired for the position after doing the job on a temp to perm position for a short time. Here it is a year later since I've been hired, I'm extremely happy to be in the job I am since it is still a great fit, and I love working there. I owe this to Lakeshore. There are a number of temp companies in Chicago. There are also A LOT of temps looking for work right now. Lakeshore sets themselves apart by the effort they take to find the right job for the right person and vise versa.
