Top Notch can do almost anything you need done for your house and they'll do it for a reasonable price and at the time they said they would do it! It's even nicer that both Lana and Robert are great at responding to emails and texts as s that can make it WAY easier to communicate while you're stuck at work. I would highly recommend having them come out and give you an estimate on your next project. I mean.. now that they've finished all that stuff for us I guess it's ok to let you all know how great they are :)

I talked to Robert for about ten minutes. He didn't want to do quotes on evenings or weekends, but my husband and I both work. He eventually said "my wife will kill me, but I'll do it on an evening." He then said we both have to be there in case my husband and I argue and disagree on the work he does, and he couldn't put himself in a position between married people. That sounded a little weird to me, but he sounded nice otherwise, so I figured I'd give him a shot at the work. The next day, I got a voicemail from his wife canceling our appointment saying that we "weren't a good fit for them." I just wish they'd been honest from the beginning and not wasted my ten minutes writing down every detail of the work I wanted and all my contact information and where I'd heard of them if they were just going to cancel immediately afterward. The whole encounter was weird.

He has a group of people he's worked with for many years. Many of the same members came back when I had the kitchen done. Unlike some general contractors, he knows his team and he also spends a lot of time at the jobsite supervising. He was there almost every day, and for several hours at a time. He has a good eye for the work and keeps the quality high. As things come up unexpectedly as they do when you start tearing things up, extra work and costs are explained and accounted for. I had some plumbing and electrical that needed to be done for my kitchen that wasn't part of the original quote, and I did ask for some painting and repair in the living room. So while there were overruns to the original quote, the work needed to be done and the costs were explained and accounted for before the work and charges were done.

Roman fully remodeled my entire kitchen, multiple bathrooms, living room, dining room - literally every room of the house. He did a great job with all of it. He took care of everything: framing, drywall, tile work, plumbing, roofing. There was nothing too small that Roman couldn't do. Such a complex project is inherently challenging and stressful - especially over many years. But Roman always found a way to carefully guide the project, ensuring it was completed successfully and to my liking. (And I'm pretty sure I'm the most picky client he's ever worked with!) Out of this huge pile of work, there was exactly one thing that ever required 'warranty' service. Roman showed up the next day and got everything right, no questions asked. His work is great and he stands by it, too. After all this, Roman is still someone I'd call in a heartbeat to catch up with and do more work with. The work was flawless and everything was done on or ahead of schedule. Roman is always a pleasure to work with - honest, positive, caring - and always listens and addresses any concern. In addition, Roman truly cares about getting things done perfectly. He genuinely labors over (and gets us involved in) the most minor details to make sure that we were/are 100% satisfied. He politely makes really great suggestions that we/our designer might not have thought of - and was always right! I can't tell you how many small decisions he helped us with to make sure that the job was perfect! Roman was really professional in managing his workers (who are all great to work with and all very talented). We picked out a porcelain tile at Home Depot that was on sale. It seems that there was a reason the tile was on sale, Home Depot had very little of it left, and David was able to locate enough to complete the job. They showed up and time, did not damage anything, were very professional and completed the job in less time than I expected, even after I added more projects that were not in the original contract. I am very happy with the end product and have no complaints.

First Tim replaced the ugly T-111 siding on my house with Hardie Plank and painted the house. Then I had him enclose my garage which included building closets and opening up walls to add French doors. Sheet rocking, painting, and trim work was done also. The project we just did was replacing an ugly bathtub with a shower enclosure. The area was torn down to the studs and redone. The tile floor was also replaced with nicer tile. Most of the time if you go to a place like Home Depot, Lowes, or a general contractor like State Wide Remodeling (or others) they simply sub out the work and double the price.
