It's where I routinely buy my gas, even if it's a couple cents cheaper elsewhere here in Georgetown, Texas. I have been a customer here since before it was even a RaceTrack station/store. That's a LONG TIME! But since becoming a 7-Eleven, and Meddy has taken charge there, she has built a first-rate operation. I am medically retired from a second career dealing exclusively with convenience retailing solutions around the globe and I've never seen a more top-notch enterprise than the one that Meddy has built at this location. To know her is one of my nicest experiences ever, and I've been far and wide, so I'm not just blowin' smoke. At this particular store, everybody knows my name, and I know theirs! Their demeanor just makes you want to engage them a bit more person ably than the typical retail encounter. From Meddy to Donnie, to Julie, to Lee, Tammy, Andrea, Ronaldo, Brandy and John, Helen, Sherry and Chris, they treat you right! Meddy knows how to put a winning team together and keep it polished and continues daily to evoke the best from her employees. This is not an overstatement; it's just the way it is! I consider every single one of them to be like family to me as our closest family members are about 2 hours away. The inventory that Meddy keeps in the store is fresh, nicely varied and probably just what you need at the time of your visit. The store is clean and the whole crew stays on top of everything, always making things right! Their Exxon gasoline is as good as you can get anywhere and one of the best prices here in the Georgetown area. Oh, and their "Emergency" brand is the best ice in town, fairly priced and always in plentiful supply! I really know because I've tried them all in this pretty little town and use quite a bit of it each week. Most the other ice available locally quickly freezes solid and you've GOT to use force to break it up, but not Meddy's ice! Well, I don't often write reviews but after seeing the two rather wanting reviews, I had to set the record straight; it rarely gets better than Meddy's 7-Eleven! I double-dog DARE you to try 'em out whenever you're close by and need to make a convenience store stop. I am certain you will be hard-pressed to have had a better, more personable experience before! From the outside it is presentable but did not go inside. The pumps are vintage in a respect you have to life a lever to have it flow gasoline. It took me a few minutes trying to figure it out. There are a lot of pumps so no waiting. It did not print a receipt but ok since Exxon emails me one. The intersection it is on is busy but was able to get out and find an alternate route back to I-35.

Their business is far from bustling. Their window signs advertising vapes and smokes makes it seem a bit skeevy. The pumps are new, but they don't seem work for NFC devices and beckon you to come inside. After 10p, at a convenience store the looks like it came out of a B horror movie, don't want to be running inside to pay. Pass. There are other reputable gas stations nearby.

Eggs and milk are better gotten at the Dyer Dairy, but in a pinch, this is a good place to get them. The guy who works there almost any time I go in seems grumpy and quiet, there's a second guy I rarely see who actually seems nice. They take debit/credit cards and the LoneStar card.
