Despite quite a bit of difficulty in getting my disk to respond to their software. Highly recommend. Seems they love a challenge at IRepair - and recoveries are often just that.

They also went over the repair agreement thoroughly, including the $75 diagnostic fee, which goes toward the cost of any repair. At first, I got a call saying the motherboard was completely damaged and likely beyond repair, which was disappointing. Then the next day, they called back and said they had spent more time looking into it and were actually able to fix it. The repair ended up costing an additional $150, but it was absolutely worth it. My kids' PS5 had stopped accepting discs, and now it's working again. They also advised against relying on random YouTube repair tutorials (oops), since DIY fixes can sometimes make the problem much worse (especially if you're clueless like me). Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back here again, although hopefully I won't need to anytime soon!

I did, over and over... on the third try, I spoke with a person in charge who complained about the warranty company, said he wasn't contacted by them and proceeded to pass the buck of why there had been no call to me. I simply mentioned that even if the warranty company hadn't contacted them, that I had and my calls were not returned - so strike off one star. Next, when the work needed was assessed, the warranty company agreed to pay $159 to replace my ceiling fan and the hourly charges to install it, materials charges for outlets and switches and all the repairs and time that Deltex quoted them. The fan that Deltex provided was retail priced at $59, looks cheap and has different lighting capabilities. When the technician called about it the attitude seemed to be that the warranty company didn't give them enough money to do the job properly... but Deltex gave the quote - strike 2 and 3 The only bright spot was the technician himself, very professional and personable. So the two stars are really for Mike doing a good job, but I would not prefer to work with this company ever again! I don't recommend.

The fan over our shower was bad and we never saw any results so we got a top of the line Veent fan and the installation was pretty intense with a need to cut some additional space in the roof. When Kate came in she gave us a fair estimate and she came the day we had set up letting us know she was on her way and couldnt have been more pleasant to work with. There was no doubt she cared about her work and our satisfaction- always checking with us after was done with a "hows it look"? It was nice having someone so upbeat and positive and she did a professional wonderful job. It was a few hours for her with shower fan installation the bulk of her time and required some extra work but it looks great and works perfectly. She has alot of pride in her work and it shows as she herself was very satisfied with the end result. The outside security light and motion detector also required some extra time but she was able to get it done just in time before a wind/rain storm came with the help of a couple assistants who arrived with the large required ladder. Yes we also feel the cost for her services was more than fair and she even gave us a break/discount for adding another outside light onto her original estimate. We highly recommend Affordable Electric also because they were the ones who replied to our initial call when a couple others didnt even have the courtesy to return calls. We are glad they did!

I dialed about 20 electricians, and very few answered the phone, or returned a call. One large company told me that they don't do emergency calls on weekends! Really?? After going without power for one night, I started dialing the next morning. One kind electrician, told me he was working a job, but he told me to use his name and to speak to either Lori, or Rusty at Sub City electric. I left them a voicemail, and continued my quest to find an electrician. As I was on the phone with the next one, I saw a text from Lori telling me she had already sent over one of her technicians, Nick, to jump the meter so I could have power. I went out to my car to charge my phone. I was sitting in there for a few minutes when a truck pulled up and I met Nick. What a nice guy. He got everything working again in less than 20 minutes. He told me they would give me an estimate, I reached out to Lori to thank her, and on Monday I got to meet Rusty, Lori's father, who was very nice. I had an idea about how much it would cost to upgrade the service to 200 amps, and Sub City Electrical fell right into the price quote range. I shook Rustys hand, and hired him on the spot. This is a family business, so by 8 AM the next morning, two young guys were at the side door, ready to go to work. I believe that one of them was a stepson. They did an unbelievable job, and they were thorough. They also cleaned up when they left. They moved the panel about 6 feet to the left of where it was in my 106 year old basement. I saw them dig up part of the earth near my back deck to bury a grounding line. They got up on high ladders, and replaced and upgraded the entire service. I believe they were here for over 10 hours, and would not leave until everything was done and cleaned. I'm telling everyone: if you have an electrical problem, or some work that needs to get done, call Sub-City. Their service was phenomenal. They were responsive, and they do quality work. Not inexpensive, but trustworthy people. PS: I am still waiting on National Grid to come out and reinstall the meter! I need to call Lori.
