There's not too much in this town and my husband said that Sinclair's here is a rat dump, so it was nice to find this establishment. When we entered I didn't see nor hear anyone and we went straight to the restrooms. The women's had two stalls and was very clean with a nice scent. I then came out and started taking pics around the store wondering where the employees were at, it was so quiet and empty. The store did look clean and we'll stocked. Not only was there food, but also other items to check out. When my husband came out we picked out our breakfast and snacks. There was no tea or coffee available and the one booth they had was unavailable (COVID-19). My husband grabbed some glazed donuts and a 44 oz. fountain drink. I picked out a banana nut muffin and some planter cashews for later. I told my husband that I hadn't seen anyone working here and he told me yeah he's right here behind the counter. It was Aaron, the owner, working by himself today lol he had been watching me the whole time taking pictures all over his store. My husband told him that I write reviews for Google and Yelp and he laughed. I'm sure he was probably wondering what the hell I was doing. The front counter is pretty well hidden in the store and it was so nice to meet Aaron, he was so friendly. He rang up our purchase and we left. If you ever find yourself in Quinter, Kansas this would be the stop to make for fuel, food, drinks or shopping for other items. We took advantage of the dog park so our girl Daisy could get much needed exercise in a safe gated area and use the bathroom! They have so many gas pumps you never have to wait long! The area around the gas pumps is very tight and there is very little maneuvering room. The "wildlife center" is a small area on the second floor with some stuffed animals. A bit disappointing.
