First impressions can make or break someone's opinions on your business. And my first impressions when pulling in to their lot was not very positive. There was an apparent lack of care for the lot maintenance mainly when it came to snow removal/control. They basically cleared a small path that was just wide enough to drive down the aisles and that was it. The parking spots themselves had about a foot or more snow built up and I had to trek through it to get my suitcase from my back seat. The driver I had was really nice and was super accommodating after I realized I had left my wallet in my car shortly after departing. He was cool and offered to take me back to get it, but had to radio it in first to let the dispatcher know. When he asked for permission the person on the other end let out a giant sigh before replying with a very unenthusiastic "Yeah, whatever... I GUESS!" Did he not realize I was in the vehicle and could hear him? The main reasons I parked here instead of one of the many other lots is because I had a coupon and you take your keys with you after you park. Other lots want to have your keys so they can move your car around to different spots if need be. If Seinfeld has thought be anything it's to not trust your keys with a parking lot. You never know if they are using your backseat for Hookers to turn tricks in. That is probably a bit extreme, but it's nice to have the peace of mind knowing that there are no random strangers taking your car for a joyride. read more

When I arrived at Park N Go for my flight my car transmission was not working properly. Their shuttle driver assisted me in checking my car and offering other assistance. When I arrived at my travel destination I decided I wanted my car towed to a dealership for inspection and potential repair. Their General Manager went way above and beyond what would normally be expected to help make this happen, just like their shuttle driver had done. My hats off to both of them. They run a top notch professional business. read more

I hadn't flown out of DTW before and was appalled at the prices at the airport. Looking around, I found these guys. They were the cheapest that I could find at 8.50/day. They allow you to pay online, but the website and how they have you pay through Paypal is pretty lame. You also have to bring your receipt to show them that you paid (what's to keep someone else from using the same receipt if they entered the same day and paid for the same number of days?), and if you don't, they say there's no way to look you up and will charge you again. I nearly missed the place as it's down a side road and pulling in, it looks more like a maintenance garage than a parking location. The lot itself is pretty run down and without any asphalt maintenance that I could see. However, when I arrived at 0500, there was a driver waiting who gladly helped with my bags and I was at the airport within 10 minutes of arriving at the parking lot. Granted, I haven't returned, so an update may be coming if there's something up with my car after I get back. read more

Park n Go should be named Park N Slow.... Watch all the other parking services send 5 busses before Park n Go arrives. Worst one of them all. Save yourself the hustle and use a different service. read more

Used them for the 1st time since they had cheaper rates than Quikpark and Airlines parking. Same fast and professional service, quick pick-up on the way to and from airport, therefore I find no reason to use other providers for higher rate. I was looking for safe, cheap and reliable parking for my car at DTW while I was away on a weekend trip. Park n Go was the cheapest I could find and the service was actually pretty good. I waited less than 5 minutes to get a shuttle to and from the airport. All the staff I encountered were friendly and my car was just fine when I returned. I would say that as at the time I traveled, the entrance to their parking lot was under construction so getting in and out was a little tricky. Other than that, this place was great and I will be using them again. Oh one last thing, for whatever reason, my GPS did not locate this place easily so that gave me a little grief. read more

I had a very good experience here today. Very prompt pick up at the terminal. Fast drop off. No wait. Very polite driver and polite cashier. Better price than other places in the area and lot isn't as huge so you don't have to drive around for 20min before it's your turn to get your car. I'll be going back. I had been using a competitor for the past 18 years, but the quality of their service has been slowly deteriorating for the past three years. For my trip this year, I chose Park 'N Go and am so glad I did. The shuttles were on time, the drivers very friendly, and they loaded and unloaded my luggage. An added bonus is the large parking spaces. No more door dings or scratches caused by other drivers forced to squeeze into much too small parking spaces for even the tiniest of cars. As a matter of fact, it was the online picture of their parking lot that convinced me to give them a try. Oh, and the daily rate is less than the others! Park 'N Go is my go-to parking/shuttle service from now on. I highly recommend. read more

Their shuttles arent as frequent as qwik park or us park, but Id rather save the dough and wait ten extra minutes, honestly. I remember when cheap airport parking meant $6-8/day. Now the cheapest you will find is this, $9.50/day. The lot doesnt have shelters, you have to stand by your vehicle and they just drive up and down the aisles. Its not a huge lot, and I could see it getting full pretty quick during peak times of the year. When it comes to airport parking, I only care about price and savings, nothing else. read more

NOTE: YOU CANNOT RESERVE ONLINE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF YOUR DEPARTURE! Though the facility and grounds aren't impressive, (in fact they look really run down and could definitely use a facelift simply to improve their curb appeal), the service itself was good overall. The outbound parking experience was great. I pulled up, and then obtained a ticket to put on the dashboard from the greeting attendant who also instructed me to follow the green Park-n-Go van ahead toward my eventual parking spot. Then, once at the spot and I parked my car, the driver was already outside ready to assist. He loaded our bags into the rear of the van and it was off to the airport. Couldn't be easier. However, I was less impressed with the driver upon our early morning return back at DTW. It was a heavy rain downpour that early morning and I was really surprised to find that the driver didn't wait for us to exit the van and meet him at the back of the van by the rear of our car for our bags. Instead, he placed already placed both bags on the soaking wet ground completely exposing them to the rainy heavy downpour where, by the time I was able to load the bags in my car they were soaked. He could have easily waited for us to exit the van and meet him at the back of the van. This is especially true given we were his only passengers for that particular trip! Why was he in such a hurry? That question is actually especially appropriate because I was equally dismayed (if not distressed) by the excessive speed by which he drove us (his only passengers on that trip) on the rain soaked roads from the airport to the Park-n-Go facility. There was absolutely no reason for him to be in such a hurry. I truly consider his speed to have been dangerous given the excessively wet road conditions. In fact, even if it were a bright dry sunny day he was driving way too fast. Fortunately, and because it was so early in the morning around sunrise, there was nearly zero additional road traffic. Lastly, and apparently, if you want to make a reservation within 24 hours of your flight, their website won't permit it and won't inform you why not. I must have attempted a half-dozen times before giving up in frustration. Instead of providing a reasonable explanation as to why you cannot reserve within 24 hours, their verbatim message said: "Sorry, there were no results found for the information you entered. Try adjusting your dates, some minimum stay requirements may be enforced. Perhaps your dates may not match certain availability (i.e., blackout dates). Please change your search criteria and try again." Nowhere on their site does it say, "We apologize but you cannot make a reservation within 24 hours of your departure time" (or something like that). So, upon our exit after being dropped off at our car, I asked about this to the attendants inside the exit booth. They clearly knew about this problem and in response to my question they asked if I tried making that reservation within 24 hours of my departure time. Once I confirmed that was the case they said, "oh yeah, that's the reason why. You can't make a reservation within 24 hours of your departure time. But our manager is going to be updating that on the website this weekend." I doubt it. And here's a weird thing after I handed the ticket I received when I got there earlier in the week to the attendant at the exit booth, the attendant asked me, "on what day did you park your car?" I honestly responded with, "last Tuesday." So here's my question: why would the attendant have asked me when I arrived? My guess is their system was not working. Regardless, definitely be sure to go ahead and visit their website and print out the $10 per day discount coupon as they wholeheartedly honored it upon exit and they charged me correctly, nonetheless. Despite the fact the entire facility looks like crap, the vans were clean enough, the drivers were courteous and efficient, and the service was fast and efficient. I will likely repeat. read more

I had been a Qwik Parker for ~15 years. Over that time the booth service had gone downhill. While the drivers were stellar, I just couldn't continue paying for bad service at the front. Knowing that the Koza family owns Airlines Parking and U.S. Park, I wanted to take my dollars elsewhere. On my first visit to Park-N-Go, I was warmly greeted at the booth when exiting and made to feet I was valued as a customer. It's a small family owned business and they try harder! I still feel safe and secure on their lot and the price is competitive. The price for a VIT (Very Important Traveler - card that's issued upon asking) is only $.50 more but you also get a frequent stay card for a free visit after 10. The only drawback I have found is that I have had to give myself a little more time using them as they don't differentiate between terminals for drop off. Therefore, if I'm going to Mid-Field terminal, they stop at Smith terminal as well. This is generally for both the drop-off and the pickup. Bottom line, is that I find I'm now being thanked for my business regularly, where that was not the case at Qwik Park. I would recommend them as a local business providing excellent customer service. read more

By far my favorite budget parking lot. I've never had a problem quickly getting to the airport or getting quickly picked up from the airport. Great system in place to ensure speedy and convenient trip back to the parking lot. Would recommend! read more

Pay a bit more and use Kwik Park or USA Park. Old and less frequent shuttles with no AC and a crappy lot with no security. Lesson learned. Employees were very friendly. read more

Service was good but while the car was parked somebody has keyed my car. There are 10-15 deep scratches on the hood. You can't see it when you are driving so I've only noticed it when I came home to Canada. So I've saved few dollars on parking but now I have to pay a lot of money for repair. Be aware of vandals! read more

Have parked in the past-however this time, van was very late to McNamara with no comment- tried to call multiple times after waiting so long, phone was always busy. Finally get to car and go to pay- had paid online. When paying online there is no confirmation number or anything- therefore when checking out- we explained we had already paid and were told "well show me." Tried to look up account that money had been taken out of- were told to back up and park so people didn't have to wait with nobody behind us and us actively trying to resolve the issue. We showed account where it came out of to "park n go" and showed the PayPal transaction. Still saying he didn't show it. Then suddenly handed phone and card back and said "just go" and slammed the window. Really not pleased and will not park there again. read more

I always have used this airport parking. I will never again. My pickup was parked here and my truck cap was entered and a carry all bag was taken. Could have been oyhers but i am pretty sure they have cameras on all areas,not to mention they are always driving around. So if you need to park and have some things you do not want park here. read more

The rate during my 3 week parking stay was $9.50/day, only $0.50/day cheaper than parking connected to the airport. Certainly not worth the hassle of catching the shuttle. On my departure, I didn't have any cash on hand to tip the shuttle driver and he gave me the worst look. Upon my return from my trip I found that my vehicle had a flat tire. I took it to be repaired and there was nothing to repair. No nail, cut, or hole. The air just mysteriously vanished. I'm not saying that somebody at the lot did this... but it makes me wonder.... read more

I booked a reservation here through airportparking.com because of the low cost and was greatly disappointed at the service we received. upon dropping our car off for our early morning flight, we saw almost every car blocked in by a row of cars parked in front of the parking spots. Assuming it was an extra-busy day or something, we left our car anyway because we had a plane to catch. coming back late on a Saturday night, we had to wait 10 min for a shuttle and the woman was very rude when I called to ask where it was. Shuttles for every other company were there waiting, but not ours. Finally got back to the lot with 2 other customers and both of their cars were parked in the rows ahead of ours. I was totally irritated to see that every single car parked in a space had a car parked in front of it, blocking it in. So for all 3 of us, the driver had to park the van, get out and move the cars that were parked in front of the customer cars. he was not quick about it either. he made a comment about being sorry and that the company parked other cars like that in order to make an extra buck. I will never use this company again, even if it were free. All we wanted to do was get home after a long day of traveling and we had to wait an additional half hour to 45 minutes because of this company's greed and stupidity in parking cars. read more

I have used Park-N-Go in the past and had ok service. Today, we took the shuttle back to our car...it was the worst 20 minutes ever! The van that we were riding in had a horrible odor of feces and vomit coming from the driver and smelled throughout the van. I wanted to vomit at the smell and also worried about our health. I have never experienced anything like that in my life. It was disgusting. When we were leaving the lot, we asked for a discount for enduring 20 min of this rancid odor as we drove from one terminal to the next. The older blonde lady at the register was rude (she mentioned that she is part owner of the business) and accused of us trying to pull a fast one on her....that people do this all the time. What happened to customer service? Anyway...we will not be going back there.....we will pay the extra couple of dollars and park at US Park or one of the other lots....It has been hours and I still have the smell up my nose....puke read more
