The atmosphere was nice, the food was good, but drinks were limited & the bartender in the back was very RUDE.

And the thing about us going there, was to support and for the experience but now, I felt ignored and honestly there are plenty other places I would have rather went but to be a small business, you should acknowledge ALL your customers! I won't return here because I thought he was a genuine person but what I feel now is that he does not treat ALL customers the same and I want no parts of that. Nice cute place, but for me... I like experiences.... not obviously feeling ignored.... but the server, savanna was great and she is black, so not saying he racist but maybe he just prioritize certain people

We did come late, which had to do with scheduling conflicts so our server seemed standoffish to begin with, but completely understandable. I'd be the same way. After a few minutes, she warmed up and her personality came out, very sweet! Our round of drinks were: Lychee Love, Apple Cider Margarita, & Campire Biscotti. All exceptional. For our first appetizers, we ordered Short Rib Hummus and Lamb Meatballs. These were great starters, and built anticipation. For my entree, I ordered the Wagyu Cheddar Burger and then, my auntie said the magic words "I think we should try the focaccia bread." If I would have known the Foccacia Bread (with whipped butter and honey) was going to be that superb, cocktails and 6 orders would have been all I needed. Don't get me wrong, the Wagyu Cheddar Burger was scrumptious, but the Foccacia Bread was outstanding. The kitchen was closing and I HAD to ask for more--mind you, I hate doing that. It was THAT good. Will be back on Wednesdays for the $10 cocktails. Overall 9.5/10

The fried halloumi and the goat cheese flatbread are my favourite items on the menu, and there are a plethora of vegetarian options to choose from. The desserts in particular deserve a shoutout. Service is always very warm and I always feel well looked after. The ambiance is super "classy", but the overall effect is a bit charmless. I will return to Bar David, just because I am in the neighbourhood and it is convenient for work-related purposes, but would likely not return in a hurry if I move. If you are already in the neighbourhood or are visiting the university, Bar David is a great option, and you are sure to enjoy the food and service.

Reviews were good so we came in on a Monday evening. The interior is so cute! Velvety comfy green chairs at the wine bar, smaller lounge tables and couches in the rest of the place. There is a separate room for gaming. We sat at the bar and were warmly greeted by Aria L. She was so courteous and helpful, offering us suggestions on the wines and snacks. They have a great happy hour from 4-7p for $20 wine bottle which is fantastic. The house white was good, although they ran out after a glass and I went for the Simi sauvignon blanc which was so good. The parmesan truffle fries are a MUST. Just $8.99 for a nice sized bowl of crisp, tasty fries with fresh parmesan shaved on top. MM! I had the 12" cheese lovers pizza which had burrata cheese on top oh my GOSH that is gooooood. It's rich so I had plenty of leftovers for the next day. My friend got the 12" Diavola pizza which she loved. My other friend got the Italian panini ($13.99) which he said he was not that crazy about, but he did enjoy the atmosphere and the Guiness. It is a chill place to have a nice conversation without having to compete with loud music or chatter. We are planning to revisit the next time I am here, this was a very enjoyable evening.

They ended up calling maintenance to drive a cart to take it to the right department which was an entire block away. This flower shop also needs to keep Joann away from new clients. At first, she comes across friendly but that wears off very quickly. She gets extremely rude, sarcastic and impatient. When I called the day before my delivery to confirm the details, she picked up very annoyed and ran me off the phone saying "I have it all down correct now stop calling!" Aside from the terrible customer service, I wouldn't have felt the need to write a negative review if they had just dropped off the flowers where I asked and tried to confirm several times.
