The center keeps us well informed of everything going on, offers many activities, and a variety of learning methods. Nina is the assistant administrator who is nice, but it seems that every complaint falls through the cracks with no resolution. We have been told multiple times that corporate will follow up with us, but we have never received a phone call or email. I have called the school several times in the past month to speak to Karin and Nina. I have also sat down face-to-face with them several times but no resolution has been made. I understand that bits may be age-appropriate for toddlers, but receiving 9 in such a short period of time is unacceptable. Today I found another bite on my Toddler with no notification from the school. Clearly, no one is holding their word when they say they will keep a closer eye on the Toddlers in the class to limit the biting. I told the school I would like a call from the regional manager to talk about what would be done to resolve this issue. Update: The school never called, so I had to call in to get an update on what they would do to help limit classroom biting. They informed me that a 3rd teacher would be in the class during the moments the main teachers are handling lunches and diaper changes. Although this sounded promising, they had already told us this would be implemented several weeks ago. At this time, we do not trust the management and have decided to enroll our toddler in another school. Reflection: The Kiddie Academy is very clean, and the staff I have dealt with have been nice to my toddler and me. We left because the administration couldn't be trusted to keep their word, and management never helped with our situation. Also, the morning teacher for the next age group 2+ I would hear her yelling at the kids in the morning and could be heard from the toddler room. On a few occasions I thought about stepping in to say something because no kid deserves to be yelled at but I am kicking myself because I never did. I do not want my kid to start thinking biting is okay. And I do not want my kid to get yelled at when they age up to the 2+ year old class. This is an honest review from a parent that tried to be respectful and responsible with the school but in the end I had enough.

First of all, it doesn't break your budget. So many daycares force you to pay for 5 days and all summer to hold your child's spot, but Aloma does not. They charge for the days that you attend. It was the most reasonable for our budget. Second, the staff turnover rate is nonexistent. Some of their teachers have been there for over 10+ years. That says a lot to me as a teacher that you have all of these great teachers willing to stay at the school and not move on to "greener pastures". Third, the teachers are amazing. My daughter has learned a tremendous about from all of them. We are constantly learning new things here like sign language from Miss Savannah or games from Ms. Jody. The teachers care about the kids well being and their academic growth. Finally I'd like to say that the office staff also cares about the kids. My daughter knows all of the them and feels comfortable and safe when she is there. Seriously as a parent, safety, loving, and a great learning experience what more can you ask for. We are truly going to miss this school and the people. They have become family to us and we would highly recommend this school.
