Through yelp, I found this place and read some positive reviews of Dr. Lee. I made an appointment for myself and two kids and we all had our eyes examined by Dr. Lee. He's friendly and I never felt rushed through our appointments. He made sure to answer all questions and concerns. When our exam is done, we have the choice to get our prescriptions written and head out to another place to shop and shop here directly. Honestly, I knew I needed the Asians fit so I browsed around to see what they have on stocked. It didn't take too long for me to fit 'the one' pair of frame. It was light weight, cute and fits my face perfectly. The best part is the frames are reasonably priced compared to my other Asian fit frame I purchased in north jersey. 20% discounts are given to customers who doesn't have insurance for frames and yes, unfortunately that applies to us. I'm happy with my glasses and so is my son. For my daughter, there were no change in her eyesight exam which is great as she can still wear her existing pair. Their staff is friendly and really try to work with the patients/customers. I have seen them on providing costs effective and solutions if you have any financial concerns.

However, it was after I brought my 4 year old toddler to her recently that prompted me to review her outstanding rapport with young children. My kiddo does not like medical visits of any kind. I thought he was going to be okay going in at first because of all glasses on display that got him curious and interested. But once we sat him near an examination machine and Dr. Ha started asking me questions about him, he knew it was yet another medical examination and started to bawl. Once he starts crying, it's not easy to calm him down. Dr. Ha immediately gave him attention and asked if he wanted to play some games, with numbers and letters. Told him that he will see a balloon inside. Asked if he knows his colors and to tell her the color of the balloon. I'm stunned that she got him to sit still (we're talking 4 year old here) for about 20 minutes for various exams. Highly recommended! On the phone, she said as long as the child knows their alphabet, they are old enough to get an exam with her.

She also tried to not give me my eyeglasses prescription even though I told her I primarily wear glasses. I had to go back and explicitly ask for it.

The doctor, Dr. Lee, is knowledgeable and really knows his stuff. He is very thorough and takes his time with each patient. We had a tight schedule before traveling abroad and they were willing to schedule us at the end of the business day past regular hours. Super flexible and accommodating! I paid in total $224 and the frame was ruined - see photo attached, with both sides of the frame being distinctively not round in shape. Just in case, I have another pair to compare with, so I am confident in saying that the frame was damaged by those who put the glasses in it. I am going to visit the place and see if they have any decency to acknowledge poor job and to return the money.

Dr. Steinberg gave me bottom eye plugs for my severe dry eye that was caused by horrible Dr. Gordon in Highland Park. Dr. Gordon gave me no instructions after dilation and my mild dry eye turned severe that day because I wore no sunglasses. Dr. Patel and Dr. Steinberg helped me as much as they could with what they offered for dry eye but unfortunately I had to find someone who offered IPL.

He was a black guy in his 40s or 50s with glasses, wearing brown t shirt. I nicely asked "Would you mind muting the sound, there's too much noise around here between office music and multiple receptionists talking to patients". This guy went off, told me this is free country, it's America, and I should read the Constitution, and refused to turn it down. I said I was just asking for courtesy in a public place, and he said I was mentally crazy. At this point, he looked pretty aggressive and threatening. He said if it's noisy, go tell the receptionists to be quiet, which was a nonsense. I felt unsafe, and judging by his demeanor, he might follow me when I leave the office. I talked to the doctor, receptionists and other employees there that I didn't feel safe, and found out this guy is a regular patient and is quite aggressive toward female employees there too. The office manager needs to do something about this guy. If I see this guy next time I visit for the eye exam, I'm gonna leave with the exam. Do not want to be in the same place with someone like this, feeling unsafe. I feel sorry for female employees who need to put up with him.

Wow am I amazed. Its been a long time since I've gone to BJ's the last time being several years…read moreago and a total disaster. This time a totally different experience. Their selection is incredible! They've almost become a cross between a Costco & Shoprite selling both bulk items as well as 'normal' sized grocery items. Prices are amazing as well being at or below the prices at Costco & Sams Club, which really shocked me. Plus they take all major credit cards as well as coupons. Their return policy isn't as great, only 30 days on normal items, 14 on electronics and you need a quarter for a shopping cart (which is ok I guess since the lot isn't full of unreturned carts). Overall if you haven't checked out BJ's in a while, you owe it to yourself to try them out again.
