The new ownership I decided to give a chance and the following is the reason I implore anyone to beware of this shop. They did not fix the tire rod on my car from an accident I had. Drove the car for months until I had to get an oil change where it was discovered my inner tires were bald due to the tire rod never being fixed (had zero incidents in between service). Was told by my dealership this could have happened 1 of 2 ways, from the tow truck hooking on to my car (I never used a tow truck) or the body shop never rotated my tires because they did not fix my tire rod. They would not have been able to rotate the tires if the tire rod was not fixed. Wood Ave gave my insurance and I the run around "looking" for the tire rotation paperwork but were never able to find it after 3 WEEKS. They think I'm an idiot, and I guess I am since I have to pay for brand new tires because they didn't do their job....on my car the first time around and not taking responsibility when their mistake was brought to light. Do yourself a favor and NEVER get your car serviced here.

Jerry, the owner, took a look at the damage and gave me an estimate. It seemed like a fair price for the work, so I decided to go ahead and have the work done. First of all, the work was excellent. There's no clue that I ever bumped into a pole in a parking garage. And it was all done in two days. Just as impressive was that fact that Jerry let me drive off before paying. I had tried to pay with a credit card and he said he doesn't take them, but I could send a check. I realized today when I brought over a check that he only had my first name and mobile phone number, so it's saying something that he trusted me to make the payment. I would definitely recommend Torino's for any auto body work you need. If you do go, make sure you ask Jerry to show you his pride and joy, a 1963 Oldsmobile Jetfire. He even took it with him on his honeymoon in Italy! CP's review says Torino's is a throwback. I had been hesitant at first because of his limited social media reviews, but his work has such high quality that he seems to only need word of mouth. Still, I am so thankful for this experience that I wanted to leave this review for others to feel that it's worth the trek (over 30 min for me). We had needed a superficial scrape on our front bumper to get fixed and repainted. With Mauricio, there was no frills, no fuss. He took a look at the picture I sent him, gave me a quote within an hour, and told me I could drop off the car anytime before they closed. I drove up to his Garage and was impressed by all the gorgeous vehicles in his lot (it's packed with cars, don't be intimidated). Definitely a diamond in the rough by the highway. He clearly has a list of regulars from his 23 years in the business who go to him for their luxury and vintage car restorations, which made me feel confident in his work. Additionally, the customers I met outside also dropping off their vehicles could not stop praising him for how his paint jobs are better than the rest. I dropped off the car on Thursday just before 6p closing, knocked on his office door and handed him the key. He asked me when I needed it back (I said Monday), he said he could have it done by Saturday. True to his word, the car was done by 2pm and ready for pickup. The car looked brand new, paint perfectly matched - all I had to do was pay and I was on my way. To put this in perspective, at other businesses I scoped out I was given ridiculously high quotes with a laundry list of itemized fees, assigned windows to drop-off my car that were extremely limited given the constraints of my work schedule, and told that turnaround time would be on the order of a week or more. To top it all off, Mauricio was extremely professional and kind. He answered all questions and treated me fairly (which has not always been the norm for me as a woman at an autoshop). Two words that crossed my mind as he waved me goodbye as I left the lot - relief and gratitude.
