To start, this plaza is already an eyesore on 29 and you'd think that it would just be a quirky little thrift store to find great deals in. WRONG. My wife went by on her day off and was met with ridiculous prices, rude employees who talk smack in Spanish "they didn't think my wife understood" and overall a pathetic atmosphere. Personally, I've been driving past this place since high school and I highly suggest you all do the same, the only way to get rid of this place is by just driving by and letting it ROT. The owner should be ashamed of the establishment they have and should highly consider a change of management or a change of business. Fraudulent practices and no one in management is there when you ask, but if you call they say you can only reach in store. Um. Who sends the texts that say Park Ave Thrift: Sunday Sale! Up to 50% OFF EVERYTHING with your BLUE COUPON. 25% off without BLUE COUPON. Reply STOP to end Also at register, when I got there they pretended to honor the text until I asked the total amount. I say that's not 50 % and they say management says we aren't combining. Um. The text literally was sent same day, and says 50% with the blue coupon and it being Sunday. I had the coupon and it was Sun. Plus, if they weren't trying to sca, Why not say before ringing up. Why not say when I gave the text and the coupon. On 12-1-24, I witnessed several customers telling the employees that the personal hand blenders they purchased the day before did not work. Several of the employees were rude and then started speaking in spanish. One of the employees threatened to call the police if the customers did not leave. I am here on 12-4 and you are knowingly still selling the defective blenders Shame on you. read more

It's so crazy to me about how ppl can complain about a thrift store. To me thrift stores are some of the grimiest places and you're trying to look for gold. I have found gold at this thrift store before so I will continue shopping there. I don't go for the great customer service, which I have never had a problem with the ladies. Also they have better customer service than some retail stores. Dont expect it to be the cleanest of places especially when going on a 50% off day! Moving from Brooklyn to Georgia, I was concerned I would find a home to suit my thrifting needs, but this place is awesome! I have found quite a few gems here. read more

This place is ridiculous. I have been getting the codes via text for a while now and hadn't had the time and finally go and get quite a few items. Then at the register the cashier said something that distracted me and threw me off and I forgot to show them my phone to get the discount and they wouldn't give me the 50% off my items. I just finished my transaction and they couldn't do that that??? This place is total bs. Don't waste your money here there are other places that take better care of their customers and actually give to Noble causes. read more

This one star review is based on a negative experience I had at this store. There are signs posted all over to join the mobile VIP coupon club. I am a member and receive the text coupons, which average 7 per week and get sent at all different times of day. When I visited this particular store this past Wednesday, I asked the cashier (Carlos) what the special was and he said there was no promotion via text this week, only via email. I had no idea that there is more than one way to receive coupons. Like I said, there are signs posted about the mobile club, not about an email club. I asked if the cashier would enable me to use the coupon if I showed that I participated in the mobile club and he said no. I asked to speak to management, and he said there was none present. I asked for the store's phone number to call and speak with management the following day, and he said there is no phone number for the store. He showed very little duty to assist and wasn't even the slightest bit apologetic for the inconvenience. I'm wondering why I let my phone get bombarded by messages from this thrift store only to be treated so coldly upon my visit - maybe my own fault. I found out about this place as I was shopping at a thrift sale in the area. Another shopper told me to check it out since I was in the area. Well, that turned into a long day of shopping for me. I went to this store and the outlet store further up the road also in Lawrenceville. I was mostly shopping for clothes, not home goods. There was a big supply. Lots of different sizes. Though it was not organized by size. Therefore, you have to do a good search. A number of items still had tags on them! Wow. A number more were hardly used. Amazingly, a good number of petites, as well. I thought that the prices were quite reasonable. On par with Goodwill pricing. Took my mom on another visit and she bought alot of items, as well. I find that the other goods aren't as good as the clothing. But I still found a few things to get. There are dressing rooms, but just a few. Not the greatest, cleanest store, but I wasn't expecting much. The point is good items at a good deal. read more
