She was only looking for a store credit. After waiting almost 10 minutes for Jerry Steadman, he finally came to the counter. He ignored my wife completely and helped another customer. My wife waited patiently for about 5 minutes. When Jerry Steadman finished with that customer, he turned and motioned for the customer behind my wife to come to the other side and he proceeded to help them. We've been waiting about 15 minutes so far without a single acknowledgement from Jerry Steadman, the store manager who sets the tone for the customer service. My wife finally spoke up and stated that she was next in line. Jerry Steadman turned, glared at her and in a very elevated voice told her that she would just have to wait. He turned his back to her and cut her off. My wife was embarrassed and humiliated in front of the other customers. She left the store crying. We never returned the pajamas and we will never be back to Jos. A. Banks again. There are too many places to choose from to have to deal with a store manager that hates his job and looks down on anyone returning something. His rudeness will not be tolerated.
