Happy Valley is a former quarry on the lower part of the Great Orme headland at Llandudno. It is now a grassy area with pleasant views of the nearby cliffs and out to sea. Parisella's cafeteria is raised up, with a covered terrace where you can sit at a table and drink your coffee or eat your ice cream without any fear of being bothered by seagulls. (These birds can be troublesome at Llandudno, and we nearly found this out the hard way when, a few days before, they swooped in a bid to grab our ice creams when we were walking on the seafront.)
The cafeteria is also close to the starting point for the cable car that goes up to the summit of the Great Orme.
Parisella's ice cream comes in a variety of flavours and I can certainly recommend the Luxury Vanilla and White Chocolate flavours. read more
