This is a wonderful place to stop if you are using the A55. It beats the likes of McDonalds or Little Chef because it offers proper food at a reasonable price! If you like coffee, I can fully recommend the milky coffee that it does for £1.50 a mug. It has recently opened a very smart lounge area on the top floor with comfy sofa's. My wife and I will definately go there for a meal, as we hope to move to the area soon. With wonderful views across to puffin island, free parking, it is very hard to beat! A lovely place to go for a drink, a snack or a meal situated right on the promenade. You can sit in the window and look out over the sea to Puffin Island. The prices are extremely reasonable and if the weather is good you can take your food or drink and eat it outside. The place is very light with two long sides being completely glass. It is licensed if you would like an alcoholic drink. Car parking is free and there are lovely walks along the sea front into the nature reserve where there are bird hides. It can close after Christmas until Easter but otherwise it is open seven days a week. Sundays often see children's entertainment in the form of a Punch and Judy Show in the summer. A lovely place with fantastic views and good cafe food that is very reasonably priced. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating - its definitely 'child friendly' and they make a lot of effort in decorating the place for Xmas, Halloween etc. Also there's a very nice lounge upstairs which is relaxing. read more
