Although the service has been friendly, I was not impressed.
I had a slight cavity in my back tooth and decided to tell them about it instead of keeping quiet. They said that it was in fact a cavity and that they would need to fill it.
I came back to get it filled, and they were late in seeing me because the earlier appt went long (his/her tooth was unexpectedly broken during the procedure). Not a big deal, but then I felt like he was rushing through my procedure in order to try to get back on schedule. After it was done, they warned me that it would be sensitive to hot/cold for the next 3 weeks or so. After 3 weeks passed, it was still supperrr sensitive to cold (even more so then before I got the filling).
I went back to see if there was something wrong with the filling and there was -- he said he needed to fill it again. He asked if I was chewing using that side of my mouth and told me that I should no longer be chewing using that tooth (Isn't that the point of getting a tooth fixed?? To be able to use it without pain?). They asked if I wanted to numb my mouth for the filling and I said yes (I was sooo sick of pain at this point). As my entire face began to become numb he started to work on my tooth, but of course, that part was still sensitive and I could feel everything. So I told him and he numbed the rest of my mouth and it was okay through the procedure -- but then it was a very uncomfortable next 3 hours or so after the procedure because way more of my mouth/face was numb than necessary (Did he miss where he was supposed to numb in the first time??)
And here we are, one month later... I have not been chewing on that side of my mouth (despite the fact that I have had cavities before and never been given that direction). And suddenly my tooth is overly sensitive to cold again. Should I give this guy a third chance to redeem himself? I'm thinking that pain and uncomfortable-ness and constant time I need to cut out of work to get these unnecessary repetitive fillings is no longer worth going to this guy. read more
