Right across the street from us while we were on vacation. Coffee was good, only one barista was making the drinks but he was very fast, and it had some decent seating. We walked to it which was nice, only took 8 minutes from the beach house we were staying at. I had a lavender honey latte and it was great. Electricity went out at home so went over here for coffee this week. The woman takjng orders was by far the most unfriendly person I've encountered in some time. This place has ZERO ambience, looks like they just threw a coffee shop together in a few days that sells way overpriced coffee. I ordered 4 coffees to go and the guy making them just puts them on the counter, no lids, no carrier. I asked for both and he points to a counter behind me and says it's all over there..I guess I expected better for a 5.00 12 ounce cup of coffee. The coffee is fresh and delicious. Very good atmosphere! Fresh sweat breads and yummy kolaches :) Can definitely get crowded but you can also drink your coffee outside! Don't really expect much of a conversation with the baristas lol they are really busy making delicious coffee and honestly it is awesome just watching them do their job, you can tell they know and love what they do. I wish they would open later to 2 or 3 as usually get an iced mocha at that time so the Seawall coffee place gets my $$ more. The iced mocha here though is very good. Love their quiche but the last few times not interested in turkey one and that's the only option when I went. Cinnamon rolls are huge and tasty. This place has potential. But the only employee on this Saturday, August 16th morning was so rude. First, we had to wait 20 minutes for him to use the restroom. Then he came out with such a horrible attitude. We ordered the quiche and he threw them in a brown bag. When I asked for plates he said they were in a dishwasher and that's it. Then we got our coffee and I asked for a ceramic cup and he threw my coffee in the sink and made me one in a cup with such irritation! When I said thank you and he didn't respond. The coffee as weak and nothing special. The quiche would of tasted better on a plate instead of in a nampkin. I won't come back unless they hire more competent or at least more helpful employees. I like how you don't have to interact with the barista, I know they're busy and it's easier to order on a tablet so there's no confusion. I got a strawberry rose latte with oat milk, a sausage and jalapeño kolache, and then a chocolate croissant. Despite it being busy, my order was out very quickly. However, they don't make it known prior to ordering that you have to heat up your own pastries/kolaches. They give you the food cold and you have to microwave it. I enjoyed my latte though read more

You can tell the owner here really cares about his coffee. Everything is super intentional, well thought out, and of the highest quality. There were no gluten free options I'm pretty sure, and certainly no gluten and dairy free options. My boyfriend got some kind of baked good, maybe a croissant? He really liked it. :) read more

Found this coffee shop while in Jamaica beach on family vacation! I've been to Jamaica beach a few times in the past and never knew about this cute local spot! The barista was friendly and helped me decide on a drink! I ended up getting a Pour Over (origin: Columbia, Sidra, natural process) and was impressed with the quality and taste! It was a full of fruity flavors, aromatic, & light. There was a good amount of seating, quiet space and not very busy. They also roast their own beans, loved this spot and will be back!! read more

The coffee was the highlight of this shop. Everything else was just a weird experience for a coffee shop. It's a very awkward experience standing face to face with a barista and having to order everything on an iPad like self-checkout at Walmart. Then once I got my pastries I had to warm them up myself In a microwave on a napkin. The craziest part is the iPad prompting me to tip after I've done half the baristas job myself. This shop could be good, but they need to get back to the basics of good customer service and they'd be more competitive with the other coffee shops on the island. read more

The coffee was decent but overpriced for having to order on a tablet, put your own lid on your drink, and heating up your own food in the microwave. They were not that friendly or quick but they do make their own oat milk, which was pretty good. read more

What a great addition to the west end! We have been here 4 times in the past week. Cute little shop with friendly service. They are happy to make what you want and customize how you like. They have chai tea latte on the menu as a hot drink, but were glad to make it iced for me. They have free wifi and we are currently here getting some work done while we enjoy our drinks. It's a bit unusual in that this is a coffee and wine bar, so you are covered for morning *and* evening drinks. :) There is a nice selection of red and white wines. Happy hour is Sunday - Thursday from 4-7 with $2 off wines. read more

A few minutes ago we walked into Pariah Coffee and saw a large line. Thought... this place must serve fantastic coffee, so we stood in line. No problem. When we got up to the counter, we ordered the same item we have ordered at literally hundreds of coffee shops we have visited in our 8 years of traveling. We ordered a decaf latte. We were told they don't have decaf. I asked him if he was kidding? No... they do not serve decaf coffee!?!?!?!? We walked out totally disappointed. Wow! We stayed at a Galveston beach house down in Jamaica Beach for spring break. My uncle and I were wanting starbucks in the early morning but the closest one was 20 miles away, so we decided to try Pariah Coffee which was way closer. I got the iced matcha latte and he got a caramel macchiato. We both loved our drinks so much we came back every morning in our trip to get the same thing. Brilliant, they have coffee of course, beer, wine, ice cream, muffins, protein bars, and it's in a quaint little unassuming place with a wrapping porch so you can sit inside or out.
