Venados turned out to be an excellent place to fix my food deprivation. Both salsas that accompanied the chips were very full flavored and delicious. The chips were fine taste wise, but there were more broken pieces than in tact chips. No biggie but a little odd. We had queso and it was more than adequate. I ate a lot from my small plate, sans chips, with my fork. Sort of when you know a queso is good. My entree was old school crispy tacos with shredded chicken and traditional fixings. No complaints! We all had margaritas. Yum. Very good and way better than they had to be for the price! My takeaway: if you're on the west end of the Island and need to eat, go here. The vibe is good, the food is tasty, and the service is efficient and friendly.

I agree with others, drinks definitely tasted watered down. Order a marg with a shot to tequila on the side to add in yourself. We kept trying to wave our waitress down to order appetizers, but she was not checking in with us. When she finally came back around, we ordered our second round of mixed drinks and appetizers. Apps came very quickly. FYI-Seafood dip is a cold dip, not warm, served with approx 8 water crackers. We had 6 people at our table. Ceviche was delicious. Fried pickles came with ranch that had not been refrigerated. Ordered meals & 3rd round of drinks. Drinks came and then the meal. Food was very good and fresh. I enjoyed the crab cakes. I'm giving 3 star review based on waitress not being attentive and drinks being watered down.

I Didn't think it was a guy bar at all. It had a cute Dancefloor, a nice expensive bar, and a wonderful bartender. We started at 5 PM and only wanted to have a quick cocktail. The bartender explained T-shirt night was if you walked in with one of the T-shirts, you would get your drink at half price. we wanted to buy one of their T-shirts but they didn't have any in stock lol. So we ordered our drinks with top shelf liquor. Hers was Grey Goose and cranberry and mine was Patron margarita. Since she was still honoring T-shirt night even though we didn't have one, she charged us half price. Where the heck can you get two awesome drinks in tall glasses for 12 bucks for both? wow!!!!
