I also have stage 3 Endometriosis in which my surgeon found that my colon was attached to my ovary. Endo and gastro issues are directly related. Yet, his notes so ignorant and condescending. I also found a wonderful integrative/functional medicine doctor who was able to find that I had low thyroid, low NK cells and B cells and low B, D and Selenium. So, no doc - it "ain't all in my head." Then, I get a phone call out of the blue to reschedule my abdominal ultrasound after 8 months of not hearing from them. So, why not. My insurance covers it... doesn't hurt to see what is going on. However, in light of the coronavirus school shut downs and working in a school needing to prepare for that and for my own children, I thought it was best to cancel. I mean, Who really wants to go to a doctor's office right now unless they absolutely need to and really need the help! So, I call to cancel. The rude, completely unprofessional woman on the phone asked me why I was canceling. I told her why. Her response was, "Whatever!" Wait, what?! I just laughed, but no way in hell would I ever return to such a negative environment. Sorry you just lost your $2000 or whatever you charge for your ultrasounds.

Most just don't care and so egotistical they just keep you sitting their office waiting for forever. They also took a very similar approach about medicating me instead of trying to find the root of the issues. Dr. Waldman is just the opposite. Caring, professional and listens to you. He's not trying to push highly addictive drugs on you. After all you are the patient and its your body. After speaking to several other doctors from the top hospitals in the area Waldman has quiet a reputation of being one of the best in the business. He's the one teaching the other doctors how to administer shots when needed. He has several locations which makes it convenient. I trust him 100%. The man has exceeded all expectations. I sent several people to him and they were thankful I did. It's tough to find a good doctor who cares.

I arrived with my daughter who had glass embedded in her finger from a broken screen protector. She was in pain and upset. We were told the facility did not have the equipment necessary to remove glass from a wound. We were turned away without any treatment. I was shocked. Removing a small foreign object from a finger is about as basic as urgent care gets. Their own website says they are "dedicated to providing swift and effective treatment for a wide range of urgent medical needs for patients of all ages." I had to take my distressed child to another facility and pay $250 out of pocket. I sent a formal letter requesting reimbursement, followed up directly with the CEO by email, and received no response to either communication in 14 days. I am sharing this so other families in Hoboken know to confirm not just that a facility is open -- but that they actually have the basic equipment to treat you when you get there.
