I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone looking to rebuild after an injury or even just regular wear and tear. Only downside - the office doesn't accept major medical insurance, but if you've got the resources to pay per treatment, I wouldn't give it a second thought

I visited recently for my consultation and adjustment and holy moly it was like a night and day difference. The paperwork at the beginning took a bit more time than expected so I wish they had actually just asked me to come in 30 min earlier than my appointment time but all good. Made it in and out of there in an hour and will go for a follow up in a couple of weeks. Finally feel like I have full mobility in my lower back and legs again and it's so exciting!

I finally get the hype! Dr. Erikson is SUPER knowledgeable and I literally felt and saw immediate results which was shocking. We all know shoulder injuries are complex because of all the muscles in the shoulders but he almost knew immediately what the issue was and made me laugh through the most painful parts (which was really minimal if I'm being honest). He also did an overall check and found that my back is also not in mint condition as I can see by one of my legs being shorter than the other. The way that he explained and showed what was going on and what he's trying to do made me feel so comfortable for my first adjustment. And about that massage... well the massage was DEEP - this is not your relaxing spa day but it is healing! Another thing I value about this office, aside from it being SUPER clean, is that they do not push you to spend your money. Yes, you have to pay for your treatment but there is no pressure to come more than you want to even if the Doctor recommends more. This makes me trust them even more so I'm happy to call Dr. Erikson my doctor that is going to see me through recovery! I can't wait to give an update once I'm further along in care. Thank you to Dr. Erikson and the entire team for the amazing experience!

Like the y strap pull I've been seeing online, and this crazy machine that allows my lower back to stretch out in all directions. It was definitely relieving and I'm so glad I went. He was also really honest after the session, and didn't feel I need to go in all the time. Just here and there for maintenance, if I wanted to. It was such a great bday gift for myself! As a chiropractor myself, I understand the importance of finding skilled, knowledgeable doctors whom I can trust with my own care. I found South OC Chiropractic through Yelp and called to make an appointment. From the very beginning, the process was easy and organized. The staff guided me through uploading my insurance information on their website, verified my benefits, and called me the next day to schedule my appointment. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Drakes as my primary chiropractor. He is courteous, patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. He recommended a combination of chiropractic adjustments and decompression therapy, which has been helping tremendously with my lower back and neck pain. I also had the opportunity to be treated by Dr. Hamilton while Dr. Drakes was away, and I was equally impressed. Both doctors are kind, caring, knowledgeable, and highly skilled chiropractors. The entire office is clean, organized, and welcoming. The staff is always friendly, gentle, helpful, and genuinely caring. I actually look forward to coming here because I consistently leave feeling better physically--and happier too! As a fellow chiropractor, I can confidently vouch for South OC Chiropractic, its doctors, and its wonderful staff. This is a place where you can find not only pain relief, but also a caring environment that helps relieve stress and makes you feel well taken care of. Highly recommended!
