I bought the Groupon as I recently moved to the area and wanted to see which chiropractors I wanted to go to. I came in their office and everything was extremely rushed. There is a specific schedule for Groupon users and when I went in it felt like I was more of a number at a butcher than a patient at a medical office First, I was told I may have to reschedule the massage as there were too many patients which was understandable but when I went through the initial consultation, it felt like my concerns about what areas were bothering me weren't being taken into consideration. Then when I did my adjustment it was very rushed and I was told to schedule my next appointment and I was in more pain the following weeks before I saw another chiropractor The main reason I'm leaving a one star review is I went to my primary care physician who suggested I get the X-rays from this "facility" and when I made the request, they told me I had to pay $45 for a copy of my X-rays to be EMAILED. It was a very obvious money grabbing scheme as I have never been told to pay twice for my X-rays given how it was included in my Groupon Absolutely terrible service, highly recommend tabrizi chiropractic as they're also on Groupon and actually spent 30 minutes doing a full evaluation of me before doing any X-rays and adjustments. I'm a surgical tech so long hours and the way I arch my neck in cases has caused me severe pain. The pain eventually subsided, so i would forget to make an appointment and go about my life. I recently went on a difficult hike and my back was killing me at then end of it. I could not really move once i was on the bed. So i finally made an appointment. I got an xray, consult, and adjustment. OH MY JEEBUS. My back is worse than i thought! As a first timer, the adjustment wasnt particularly relaxing or comfortable, but wow, did my spine crack. I am for sure going back. Already made another appointment. I was glad I found Dr Jung. Experienced,careful and thorough in his assessment. The X-rays were taken by him personally, not a tech, unlike at another chiropractic practice I visited at garden grove (they used a student trainee to take my X-rays there). Chiropractic adjustments are only as good as the experience of the doctor. Typically, I could tell how experienced the doctor is from the different techniques and methods employed for adjustments, based on his assessment of my problems. Since my symptoms are predominantly the same, I could tell almost right away as I leave the clinic and from the way I feel the next day. Building medical experience takes years and working on many patients with a variety of symptoms. If the practitioner is sharp, their approach towards spinal manipulation and their intention to correct the alignment or specifically, vertebrae subluxation is usually pin-point accurate. Dr Jung impressed me with his knowledge and ability to diagnose my issue (I was looking for second opinion for a neck problem). I even received a personal call from him following up on my condition - one of two times I'd ever received a phone call from a chiropractor! I did not buy a complete treatment package from him as the rate is higher and the location is not the most convenient from my work. Even without insurance, Dr. Jung's rates were extremely affordable and competitive. He has helped me with my restless leg syndrome, which I was suffering from everyday for months at the time. Hate to leave a negative review, but felt that I had to just on my experience. Hopefully I'm an isolated incident, but in case I felt it prudent to describe my experience just so that others would be aware. So I found Dr Jung via yelp and went to him because I have this weird clicking in my neck. Dr Jung told me that if I went through his program, he was confident that the clicking would go away. Based off his assurance, I decided to go through it and spent in total about $800+. However, at the end of the program the clicking is still there and basically he told me that I should go get an MRI at the culmination of the program. I was highly disappointed by this, because I felt he could've suggested this in the beginning before expressing such confidence that his program would do the trick. To me, the methodology he took is analogues to a medical doctor prescribing medicine before conducting the appropriate test to make the diagnosis. And it makes me wonder if this would be considered malpractice in the medical industry. It's kind of like a doctor telling a patient that he has cancer without doing any tests, making him go through chemotherapy, and then at the end saying.."oh yea..you should probably go do a test with another doctor just to make sure you have cancer". Part of the reason why I went to Dr. Jung was because he gave me the impression that he really cared. But unfortunately, I had a negative experience and got the feeling that I'd been had. I get that the viability of a Doctor is based off having more patients, but it's just unfortunate because it seems like more than not, the business aspect is prioritized over what should be the goal in the "humanities" industry, which is to truly help and cure patient illnesses. Anyways, I guess the only I have is to go get an MRI now. Would've been nice to have used the 800+ I spent at the chiropractor and applied it to the MRI that I should've gotten in the first place. read more

I can't express how THANKFUL I am for being referred to Dr. Jung. I got into a cycling accident back in Feb '18 and after taking some time off to give my body a rest, I never felt fully back to 100%. I've participated in Half Ironman races for years but when I raced in Oct'18, I could feel that something was just not right. I started experiencing a weird semi painful sense of pressure down my spine, between my shoulder blades. I could not look up or fully turn my head or look over my left shoulder without turning my whole body because of the pain. After being scared of cycling (my passion) due to not being able to turn and look over my shoulder, I went to see Dr. Jung. I'm the typical busy on-a-tight-budget student. I first met Dr. Jung on my college campus when I sighted a vendor and a banner asking me if I've been experiencing lots of stress, headaches, back aches and such. Not only did I get a free massage, I also received a highly student-discounted consultation ($25 for a +$100 consultation) and more insight on my symptoms. Dr. Jung is the friendliest and highly client-centered professional chiropractor that you could ever have. If you're not at all a science-y person, Dr. Jung can also translate it all to you in layman's terms--the phases of bone degeneration, the entire re-correction process, the works. His emphasis and advocacy on prevention rather than simply relief shows all the more that he cares about his clientele's lasting health. Not to mention his flexibility to your schedule. If you're also a busy body, Dr. Jung's your man. He's sensitive to your agenda and will willingly work around your availability. His flexibility also extends to payment methods. I am paying monthly, and it works very well with my college budget! AND, you can have a casual conversation with him about anything (he's gives great interviewing advice and restaurant recommendations) and simply have a nice time and have your spine readjusted all the while.
