[Final Update (tl;dr)] They did their best to correct a mistake (installed the wrong style of hitch) but it did take a strongly worded review to get the process started. We now have the hitch we were hoping for and look forward to not having to think of it again. Updated score to 4 stars. [Update #2 - following day] We rescheduled an install once we double-checked they would install the correct hitch model (which they provided for us). They corrected their mistake and even left us a gift certificate for Crumble cookies. [Update #1 - hours after original review] They contacted me and we're working to resolve the situation. [ORIGINAL REVIEW]: Specifically asked multiple times for a trailer hitch that didn't have the huge ugly crosstube going across the bumper and they assured me they would install the kind that you only see the hitch receiver.... THEY INSTALLED THE NASTY CROSSTUBE TYPE and said "It's because your van is so new they don't make the other kind"-- A LIE. On October 28th, I had a set of bed rails for a 5th wheel hitch installed on my F350. I towed only one time (fortunately) on a short local trip to Antelope Island. This weekend (1/16/2022), I was sitting cleaning my rims and looked at the driver's side bracket that bolts to the truck frame (part of the rail installation). The center bolt was missing the nut and barley hanging on inside the frame and the rear nut was only finger tight. These nuts have serrated flanges that are designed to bite into the metal, negating the need for lock washers. There is no evidence that these nuts were ever torqued at the time of installation, as the black powdercoat on the bracket is pristine. Upon further inspection, I found all 6 bracket bolts (3 per side) were loose. I called Pards this morning and got a snippy fellow named Pedro. He immediately informed me that it's impossible that they missed torqing the bolts and I'd have to drop my truck off for the day for them to "check it out". I told him they needed to simply replace the one missing nut and torque everything down. In my opinion, this is obviously a mistake on their part and they should stop what they're doing to make this right and not give me the runaround. Pedro should crawl back under the rock from where he came and not be allowed to deal with the public. Imagine if I'd had a frame hitch installed instead where the bolts weren't visible! This is sheer luck that I noticed this. Completely unacceptable. Pictures are of the driver's side bracket with the center nut missing and the picture of the bolt is the center bolt from the passenger side that I was able to remove by hand. Steer clear of these guys. I'll be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in the morning. read more

I drive a Kia soul and I camp a lot. After my husband and I had our first son we had to starting packing more for our trips. We bought a hitch and a storage carrier. Little did we know that no matter what we tried and did the carrier dragged. We tried so many different designs to get it not to drag. We ended up giving up, one day a friend recommended Pard's. They were awesome! They took on own challenge and exceeded our expectations. They put an adjusted arm on that held the carrier up, genius! I selected 1 star because you can't select less than 1 star and write a review. According to all the reviews that gave this company high ratings I decided to use them for my trailer hitch. I'm assuming they completed the job correctly for all that have sent in reviews. The true sign of a company that operates with integrity is how they stand by their work when there is an issue. Well, Pard's does not stand by their work its that simple. Their tech installed the hitch correctly but did not reconnect a sensor in the bumper. When I received my vehicle the sensor light was on along with other resets that I had to complete so I assumed when the parking sensor continued to come on and off it was just that I wasn't doing it correctly. After a couple months of this I took it to the dealership and discovered that the sensor had never been reconnected. The sensor and the wiring harness were corroded due to this issue and had to be replaced. When Pard's was contacted they refused to stand by their mistake and make it right. Even after I offered to share the cost with them, which I didn't have to, since I had procrastinated with having it checked by the dealership. I would never have work done by them again, never would I recommend them to anyone and highly suggest to anyone who is looking to get a hitch installed look to another company.....any other company. Its companies like Pard's that make other companies that do things the right way have to work harder to get people to trust them. This was a simple fix on their part and they chose not to. I bought a school bus and converted to a RV for my photography. I hooked the trailer hitch wiring to the factory wiring harness. To my dismay I had no power going to the trailer. I tried tracing it back and couldn't figure why it wasn't working. I brought the bus to U-Haul and the kids fresh out of high school ( Dumb and Dumber) had no idea what to do. So I drove it right down to Pard's and the owner Boyd spent an hour and half and got it working. He only charge me $50 dollars!!! I ask him why, he said it shouldn't have took him that long to figure out that they chop the main wiring harness when they converted into a school bus. I was more than happy until I got home and the trailer lights didn't work right. I brought the bus back with the trailer and Boyd fix the ground on the trailer for free and it works great!!!
