BLK Stone Landscape is amazing! Octavio is nothing short of great. They gave us the best quote, and…read moretheir quality of work was amazing. In the planning phase Octavio took the time to fully understand what we want, and proposed very artistic snd innovative solutions to get us what we want (he proposed a very nice curving of a sitting area concrete to hide a fence angle and it worked great and looked amazing). He made sure everything is well documented before starting the work, and gave us enough time to evaluate the plan, and accommodated all our requests. We never felt rushed and he was very patient in explaining all the details and all whats required. During execution he was there continuously, evaluating the progress and open to any feedback we have. When something was not clear to us he took the time to explain it well. When we needed samples to evaluate a color or a material he provided it promptly. And his execution was flawless. He was there working with the crew and ensuring that things were up to plan. The execution wad very thorough and the crew wad very meticulously working through all details (all stones places with measurement and everything was set level and the stepping paths were all checked for level with respect to each other; the concrete curving was done using a string to draw a proper circle and the frame was made matching to ground ... etc). They really rook their time to execute properly and did not rush or overlook any detail. And they accommodated all our requests. It was work of art. Once the job was done they left us the remaining materials to use/store as needed and they did a great job cleaning and making sure things looked nice. I am really happy with their work. They are going to be my goto person for projects going forward.

Professional from start to finish: competitive rates, fully insured, gave us a clear timeline, and stuck to it with zero surprise charges. Miguel was great to work with -- communicative and walked us through the process at every step. What really stood out was the follow-through after the job was done. Some of the new sod struggled to take root during a heat wave, and about two weeks after the project wrapped, I reached out to Miguel. He came back out personally with a colleague, walked the yard with me, and gave hands-on advice to get it back on track -- the grass fully recovered and looks great now. That's the kind of service that's hard to find -- most contractors consider the job over once the invoice is paid. Highly recommend.

Communication: I always highly value a contractor who has the patience to explain things to their clients and keep everyone updated to ensure both sides are on the same page. There will always be things that we as homeowners overlook or forget during an ongoing project, so maintaining good communication is key to avoiding setbacks. Quality: They did a great job installing the pavers and turf, as well as handling various miscellaneous requests along the way. Miguel was patient in listening to my concerns and was able to offer proper solutions Price: I got quotes from at least four other contractors, and Miguel offered the most reasonable price by far.

Ernesco is great at project management. They don't do multiple projects on parallel. The team works in my backyard 8am-5pm each day and the project is completed within 10 days. 3. Ernesco is flexible and responsive. I've changed my ideas a few times, he and his team made extra efforts to accommodate my changes. 4. They are very reasonable with price. I strongly recommend them for yard landscaping!

Handy Luis transformed my front and back yard from disheveled jungle to beautiful, clean,…read moredrought-tolerant landscaping with drip irrigation. Luis and his helper Daniel did an immense amount of work, removing 10 yards of dirt from front and back, revealing the gorgeous hardscaping which was present since the house was built in 1978, but was obscured by dirt and overgrowth. They constructed the new lawns to my exact specifications, laying down cardboard on all exposed dirt, then layering planting mix and mulch over top. This is the greenest, most soil-enriching method, and weeds will be blocked for years as the cardboard naturally blocks light and provides cover for the earthworms to do their work! They dug tunnels underneath concrete walkways in several places for the irrigation piping to be laid. Then filled in and covered up so you would never know they were there! They planted my maple tree, rose bushes, and all my drought tolerant native plants, and ran drip irrigation to each plant. They also assisted me with constructing four planter boxes in the backyard , which I designed out of salvaged redwood fence boards. Again, they installed them to my specifications, and I could not have done it without their help. Luis also had many great suggestions, drawing from his many years of experience in the landscaping arena. It was great to bounce ideas off of him, and in many cases, he suggested better ways which I would not have thought of. For example, he suggested I utilize extra dirt to create gentle hills in the front area, making it look more like a natural landscape. This also saved some cost of disposing of the extra dirt. I would recommend Handy Luis to anyone looking to improve their landscaping, whether large scale or small scale; they handle it all!

I got a couple of quotes through Yelp, but ultimately decided to go with Kay Green -- and I'm so glad I did. It took Young and his crew about a day and a half to complete the project. I live in a townhouse community, and they were very respectful of the shared space. They did an excellent job cleaning up the carport area they used for their equipment and materials. We ran into a few unexpected issues during the project, but Young was always upfront about what was happening and communicated his solutions clearly. His recommendations were thoughtful and turned out great. I would definitely use Kay Green again for any future landscaping projects and will happily recommend them to family and friends!

They ruined and broke numerous branches while admitting that these plants are very delicate. They rushed the job that should have been at least two hours and finished in one hour. I should have stopped them after the owner told me to go inside and they will let me know when they were done. You never tell someone that's paying you $500 dollars to take your time and do a professional job to go inside. I should have told him to get the F off of my property and hired someone else. I would have been better off hiring men from Home Depot. Totally unprofessional, rushed the job, ruined a couple of plants and didn't give a shit how it looked, even after I showed the owner the damaged plants and all the broken branches only to find more as the branches dried out in the weeks to come. He tells me the plants are delicate, but yet they didn't treat them that way. I will never hire this unprofessional company again and recommend that you don't hire them either. They have plenty of help to do a good job, but refuse to do so. This was a total rip off job to the tune of $500. I'm so sorry I hired this clown to do this job, every time I look at what they did it makes me sick and pissed that I didn't throw them off my property and paid them nothing. I've waited weeks to write this review, in hopes that the job would look better, but it doesn't. Thanks a lot, KAY GREEN LANDSCAPING FOR DOING A SHITTY JOB AND TELLING ME TO GO INSIDE. I should have kicked your ass to the curb and told you to take a hike.

Exceptional Quality, Speed, and Professionalism!…read more We recently completed a full remodel of our front and back yards with James and his incredible crew (Teo, Marcos, Silvino, and Jesús), and the results are absolutely stunning. Our project was extensive, involving hardscaping, landscaping, fence work, lighting, and an outdoor sink. After vetting 8-9 different quotes, James's proposal stood out for being highly competitive without sacrificing high-quality specs. The execution more than matched the pitch. James is wonderful to work with--never pushy and truly dedicated to his craft. He has completed a ton of projects in the area and had an extensive portfolio of example pictures / videos to show us. This was incredibly helpful in narrowing down our choices for pavers and materials to match our vision. He was on-site with the crew every single day, which made communication seamless. You only have to explain your vision once; he "just gets it," remembers the details, and executes perfectly. The crew is easily the most hardworking and efficient team we have ever seen. Rain or shine, they were here from ~7:30 AM to ~4:30 PM, six (sometimes 6.5!) days a week. The progress they made daily was remarkable, and they actually finished the project sooner than expected. Beyond their speed, they were incredibly respectful of our home and thoughtful about not disrupting our neighbors. A special shout-out to Teo, the on-site foreman; he is exceptionally skilled and handled every technical challenge with expertise. We have already received countless compliments from friends and neighbors. If you want a team that is fast, reliable, and produces beautiful work, we highly recommend Action Landscaping!
