My husband and I are currently having our backyard pavers installed by Miguel, owner of Cutting Edge Design. He is so professional and it is so disappointing to have Jenny give him a 1 star rating. It is not accurate. Perhaps Jenny could have asked about his trailer (plates stolen) before using YELP. I asked my neighbors if it was okay for his equipment to stay parked in front of the house (public road) and they said sure. Paving a driveway, a backyard, etc. is a big job. So sad to see someone like Jenny, full of hateful speech, and so unaware of the job he is doing. Apparently Jenny, you are not a nice neighbor. So blessed I have the kindest neighbors!! read more

I wanted to replace an uneven flagstone path with a safer cement pathway through my front garden. Miguel's bid suggested he could provide good value for the price. With his partner, they came up with a few ideas that would make the pathway even more attractive for the same price. Miguel and team did a fantastic job of transforming our plain concrete and mud backyard in to a lovely patio and artificial turf area we can enjoy. We did not have a complete plan for the yard when we first contacted Miguel, however he gave us lots of great options and we were able to go and choose pavers etc from his source. We recently had our entire front yard and driveway redone by Miguel and his crew, and they did an excellent job! They demolished the old concrete (cracked) driveway and replaced with pavers. They took out some major bushes and trees, built retaining walls and fences. And now we have a front yard that is much lower maintenance and way more user-friendly. Miguel offered good suggestions about where to place borders, etc. He showed us examples of previous work and had us look for ideas at a local paver company. These guys are great in many ways...they are quick to respond, provide a free estimate and get to work. Their price was very competitive, and their finished work product looks good. I have found, however, that they are unwilling to come back and fix a few blemishes, like irrigation piping that sticking out in many places, and uneven mulching. They have pretty much said that once the job is done, they wont return. So, either hold back some of the payment for a few weeks, or expect that you might have to have someone else finish the stuff they arent willing to do, like smoothing out mulch on a hillside or reburying irrigation line. Other than their unwillingness to return, the work looks great and the price was right!! read more

Miguel and his team did a wonderful job on trimming back and laying bark. The yard looks great. They also ran 2 additional irrigation lines as requested. My problem is that when I asked him about burying the irrigation lines, instead of telling me that was not included in the quote, he ignored my question until it became an issue. After I paid him, my bad. Otherwise the job was done in a professional manner and they picked up all rubbish.
