We ordered the pork pot stickers to share. Then we also ordered sticky ribs, chicken sando and egg drop soup. The server took our order and returned promptly with our drinks. After some time passed the server returned to inform us the ribs were sold out and provided us with a menu to look at other options. A little more time passed and then more bad news the egg drop soup was also out of stock. We declined on ordering anything else and I asked if my chicken sando was still coming and was told yes it's on it's way. Meanwhile we watched three other tables arrive and place orders and even receive their food and yet my chicken sando was still missing. I flagged down our server and again was told my chicken was coming. Another 15 minutes passed and still not sandwich. I politely flagged down our server and requested the check as our lunch experience had gone on for over an hour now and still our food was incomplete. We got an apology and the bill and began to exit. As we were leaving the server arrived at our table with a takeout bag with my chicken sando. I'm not sure what was happening on this visit but something felt very off at the Drunken Kitchen. First impressions are very important especially in a dining experience and this first impression was not good at all.

However, there were a few things that did not make the event run smoothly. First, I didn't feel the hostesses there did much. When the bride arrived, no one approached her to offer help. She already arrived a bit later than planned and panicked when she found the bride room was locked. Little things like this really can have a huge impact on wedding day and add stress to the bride. We actually could only see staff from the catering services and one of them was very helpful and offered to look for a venue staff to open the bride room door. We weren't satisfied with the sound system. The microphones made some loud squeals. One hostess was in charge of controlling the audio, and during the one of the performances, the music was so loud that it startled the guests and made a baby cry. Also, the couple planned to show a childhood slideshow as part of the program, but there was only one TV mounted to the side, which could only be seen by like 20 people, so it was a bummer they decided to skip the slideshow. Btw, this venue had three stories, so multiple receptions can take place at the same time. Some guests entered into someone else's reception because the side door was opened. They did have a sign with the names of the couples to direct guests to different rooms, but some guests entered through the side door before they could see the sign at the main entrance, so there was some confusion. Also, I believe there was only one elevator. It's not very convenient for those going to the reception on the third floor. Overall, the venue looked amazing, but the service provided was poor.
