The gentleman in front of me asked why is everyone wearing masks and Tammy the manager who was open ill and coughing responded with saying that all the employees wearing a mask were ill/coughing and had fevers. She even said she shouldn't have been at work today but didn't have a choice. Another employee said yeah I'm sick but couldn't miss out on money. Employees that are ill like they were should not be preparing food it is a food safety violation. If you want to eat a place where employees are preparing food that are ill this is the place for you. Disgusting i threw out my sub and won't be returning.

Regular was $16 and added 3 cheese for 1.50. Crib chips option with meal option is the way to go if you like crispy chips. The dip goes well with them too. The cheese steak was very good. Glad i got the added cheese. Be ready with napkins because it's messy but worth it. Banana pudding was decent but I'm picky and like chunks of banana in mine. Nilla wafers on top should be added just before serving in my opinion because they are soft from being in there in cooler ready to go. I get it for efficiency sake of running restaurant but would prefer them to be crispy and fresh on top. Overall very much recommend.

Super flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and packed with meat. The bread was soft, the flavors were on point, and every bite hit. If you're looking for a solid cheesesteak that actually delivers on flavor, this is the spot. 10/10, will absolutely be back.

Brown Bad Deli recently opened up on Spears Creek Road. I had heard about their food truck on Yelp…read morebut when they opened up a brick and mortar business where PT's coffee used to be. Our ROMEO group of 8 went here for lunch today to try it out. The store is exactly as it was when PT's was here...they've got about four tables with two chairs along the wall on the right. Another table with four chairs on the left and another small table with two chairs. They have a longer high table with seating for eight as soon as you come in. We arrived about 11:10AM and the cashier explained their sandwiches. They have a great selection of hot and cold sandwiches, a glass display with several good looking pasta sides, and their blackboard has a list of snacks and salads. For drinks they have teas, coke and diet coke, and some sort of flavored soda in cans. Our group ordered 2 Italian sandwiches (one hot and one cold), two Reuben sandwiches, One Pastrami sandwich, one Shrimp Po' Boy, and two Cuban Sandwiches. One of the guys saw an appetizer of three pimento cheeses with cheese crustinis (he took home for his wife) that looked delicious. The Italian sandwiches were good, filled with all the right stuff. Quite large and cut in half. I forgot to ask but I wish I'd ordered jalapeno's on the side for mine. The Rueben's were well liked with a lot of swiss cheese and meet. The pastrami was very good, packed with a lot of meat. The Shrimp Po' Boy was good, but he said he wish the remoulade sauce had more of a kick...and one of the other guys mentioned that in New Orleans they usually don't put remoulade sauce on Po' Boys. Overall rating was a 4.0 for the guys. The one thing that was mentioned was that they should at least serve a bag of chips or a small side of pasta salad or something, similar to what many of the other deli's do in town that we've frequented. Price of the Italian sandwich was around $14. Staff is friendly...hope they do well.

Well, that's exactly what happened to me when I rediscovered the great food at Rush's. The last time I went was back in the early 2000s, so visiting in 2024 made me realize just how long it had been! I remember we'd usually get the fried chicken and a few sides, and after a few visits, I was off exploring other restaurants. Recently, my sister and I made a stop there on our way to visit our parents. This time, instead of fried chicken, we were craving hamburgers, hotdogs, and fries. I'd never had a burger from Rush's, but my sister vouched for them, and she's usually spot-on with food recommendations. We ordered three hamburgers, fries, and a hotdog. I didn't want a hotdog for myself initially, but she encouraged me to try hers. Let me tell you--the photo I took doesn't do the burger any justice! It was huge, fresh, and delicious. I got mine loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onions, and mayo. The fries were hot and crispy, just the way I like them. My sister even let me try a piece of her hotdog, and I instantly regretted not getting one myself--it was that good! The onions on it were amazing, and I'm usually not a big fan of onions! I'll definitely be back whenever I'm craving a good burger or hotdog!
