The owner was also incredibly sweet and took the time to talk with us about how the team went to Philly and did so much research before opening this place. You can truly taste the care and effort that went into it! The prices are more than worth it in my opinion , and every time we're in Charlotte, this is a must stop for us. Mouthwatering, packed with flavor, and absolutely worth any wait. I honestly wish they'd open one in Raleigh because we'd be there every single week. This place is officially a staple for us, and I cannot rave about these cheesesteaks enough. Thank you for serving the community and honestly don't listen to any review that isn't 5 stars.

As I pulled in, I noticed the Mountain Dew umbrellas--a classic sign of a great hole-in-the-wall joint. We spoke with Nora (the owner), and she instantly felt like family--just like talking to my grandmother. Everything is made from scratch, and wow, it's fantastic. I started with two slices of pizza, which were great, but then I tried the calzone and the Euro burger... holy cow! If you're looking for a well-priced meal and want to support a local business with a rich history, this place is a must. Make sure to say hi to Nora at the front! The thin crust was a little soggy until getting to where it's a little thicker where it was absolutely buttery delicious. It's a quaint NYC, Chitown hole in the wall with a few tables to allow for eat in. It felt like I was transported back to a pizza place in the 70s family run where everyone knows your name. The owner was initially there by herself. What looked like her son came in later. She was very nice and checked on us a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed. I'd go again to try another dish to see if it has that homey Italian taste.

The cashier was friendly and helpful, too. We liked the dough with its crispy crust (an added treat when rewarming a slice); however, we found the sauce uninspiring and began tossing on our slices extra cheese, seasonings, and garlic to amp it up. I would be willing to try them again especially since they have more items in which I'm interested. Oddly, I cannot get delivery to Monroe even though Jet's Pizza next door delivers without hesitation. Hmmm.

I used to recommend this place, but after my recent experience, I can't anymore…read more First, they barely have any sides or appetizers. The only side they consistently seem to have is fries. I wanted cheese fries, but they told me they didn't have any cheese. That made no sense because they were still selling hamburgers and chopped cheese sandwiches, so clearly they had cheese. On top of that, I was told my food would be ready in 20-25 minutes, but I ended up waiting an entire hour. When I finally got my order, it wasn't even made correctly. I asked for both white sauce and red sauce, and neither was included. The long wait, lack of menu items, and incorrect order were very disappointing. I had been seeing them promoting this place on TikTok and I wanted to support a local business, but after this experience, I hope they improve their customer service, food preparation, and inventory management. The only reason for two stars is they sauce but they stay forgetting it!!
