Was told to wait outside in the cold rain until they could decide what they were going to do. 15 minutes later, the receptionist slides open a window and asks if I've heard from the RN yet. If I had, why would I be standing in the cold rain? When I asked what was going on, was told it was the policy of the practice to not see sick people. So a primary care doctor wants me to go to ER instead? Never in my life have I been treated with such disregard. To tell someone, who you know is under the weather, to go wait outside......just wow

For example, earlier this week I went in for my regularly scheduled annual exam and Dr. Hansel noticed too much wax in my right ear. I sliced a dime sized piece of skin off my finger. When he left the room to get a shot prepared, I realized I didn't want him touching me. I walked out after meeting him in the hallway and giving him an evaluation of his care, holding a piece of gauze on my finger, dripping blood down my arm and onto the floor. The very caring receptionist asked me to wait while she got the manager, who got me another provider to help me out. I still refused the shot and they offered me a less invasive treatment. The manager got me some water and graham crackers, good idea as that much panic could case shock. Thus a mixed review.

The colonoscopy and endoscopy that I had on Jan 23, 2025, went well - no complaints. Because I have mysteriously developed anemia, it was essential that the source of a possible bleed be found.
