I have come to expect nonchalant service after COVID but to be treated as an inconvenience when I'm a customer? Oh, heck no! I will NEVER step foot in this place again EVER! I could not email my shipping label to the shop. I asked the worker for help and she didn't have any useful ideas. I tried for 5+ minutes and got nowhere. When I asked her coworker, he was all stressed out about shipping another package and treated me rudely. He asked why are you asking me? Are you not happy with her help? Well, no and I told her that I'd see if you had any helpful ideas. He suggested that I go outside to send the email to get better cell coverage. I tried again outside and couldn't so left in frustration. What a sorry ass excuse for a business! I went to a real FedEx shipping center where I got much more pleasant service. Turned out, I had changed the password for my Google account and couldn't send or receive emails until I logged back in with new password. Regardless, the worker at Parcel Express is a jerk and deserves to be put in place. read more

Overcharged, and then denied I purchased what I purchased. Guaranted 1 week UPS. Arrived 2 weeks later. Asked about a refund and was called a thief for having a receipt without the tracking number. Took the receipt and then denied any refund and said "we don't make mistakes. You shouldn't have had that receipt anyways." Asked for the receipt back and said this was BS, at which point I was asked to leave for language. They kept the receipt and I guess I'm out 40 bucks and a package. read more

I'm a big proponent of supporting local business, so of course, I'd come here first before someplace like ohhhh UPS. However, this is one business I will not be giving my business too again. So you see, I'm kind of getting shipped out to boot camp this weekend. I had to send in a letter of consent for my personal medical records, which were to be faxed back to Parcel, and I strongly expressed the importance of getting a call back when these documents arrived. I even gave TWO of the staff my contact information. But after hearing absolutely nothing and calling to see what was happening a day later, I get an "oh yea, I think those are sitting here." Let me stress that the consequence of me not getting these documents would be the military giving me EVERY SINGLE immunization alllllll over again. They had three people working in this tiny little shop, and no one thought to call me back?? On top of that, I had to ship several packages, but two of the labels wouldn't print. I asked if they could help me print them, but they'd only let me buy 30 minutes worth of Internet in order to print two pages myself. So, I had to go to UPS, which allowed me to email the documents and print them there for a dollar. Parcel was going to charge me 5 dollars just to tape my 4 boxes back up, so I had to buy a whole role of tape and tape them all myself. I then had to remove the backing off all the labels, stuff them, and affix them onto each of the boxes. I was in there working on these boxes about 30 minutes. I show up to UPS with said roll of tape and they told me to put it away and they taped the boxes for me (after already asking if I needed any help getting my boxes in... Took me two trips to the car at Parcel; no offer of help). Here's the kicker. I then asked Parcel for a receipt of the boxes I sent (just like the one UPS gave me) to make sure I had security for the items I was returning. They said no. I asked if I could take a photo of the paper where I had to hand write my shipment numbers. They said no. They then asked, quite sarcastically, if I had even checked the shipments online, in which I responded that I had no way to do that, since I wasn't given a receipt of the shipments. They then tore out this tiny little piece of notebook paper and said to me "well, then write it down." Sorry, but I'll be driving all the way across town to UPS from now on. read more

This business is run like a ice cream store that hires only teenagers during the summer season. Whomever owns this business better get their act together - at this point it is clear they are not serious about keeping their doors open much longer. I went into the store on 12 March 22 to scan some documents on their 2 copy machines and had to ask for assistance regarding how to scan to a thumb drive. The two very very young kids behind the counter had absolutely no idea how to run the copiers or scan...or, anything really. I wish companies would use UPS exclusively. FedEx is horrible. We have been very diligent about clearing walkways and the stupid, lazy delivery drivers insist on trudging through more than 2 feet of snow to my porch. Then they laid the package on the snow next to the porch. In nice weather they walk through my flower beds instead of on the sidewalk. They have set packages deliberately under the rain gutter. I have tried to call to ask them nicely not to do this. Worst customer service ever. read more

Rip off alert- $2.50 to start if you want to print anything. Have to pay to use computer to just print a Document. Then they dont have software to print Docs from Macbook. 2021 and they can't print a Document from a MacBook. Told me I have to go somewhere else or go home and change the doc to a word. When i tried to leave they then demanded I pay $2.50 for using computer. Even though I didnt get the document the employee argued with me and then would let me talk to a manager. I stormed out and was then told by my daughter the man was taking pictures of my car. So I went back in and gave $5 and told them i would never come back in. I was then told by another young man that I am no longer allowed in the store. Just overall the worse customer service. I notified ups and was told they are not a ups store. They are misrepresenting the ups and fed ex and we'll as usps. I will be calling fed ex and united states postal as well all my friends and family. Neighbor said they have the worse customer service. I strongly recommend this business for printing, notary public, and shipping. I have been going to the Parcel Express in Idaho Falls (southwest corner of intersection of Skyline and Broadway) since January. The service is always superb. I never wait in line more than a few minutes. This should not be surprising, because the manager or the owner are always present when I am around. I use the notary and the fax service. I recently used the shipping service. I was impressed, because I saw I can choose among the different shipping services (i.e., USPS, UPS, FedEx). They helped me find the lowest price. If you use the notary and pay cash, 100% of payment goes to Shriners. This is a better rate than even the most reputable charities of which I am aware. I hereby pledge my word of honor that I am a customer and have no financial interest in writing this review. I went into the store on West Broadway in Idaho Falls, ID. on Feb. 3, 2021 to mail a letter with a CD enclosed. The young man that was working metered it and charged me almost $4 to meter and mail it. I gave him a $5 bill and got $1 and a little change back. Unfortunately, I declined a receipt since I had used their services many times before. I am disabled and have to walk a ways to my mail box so I don't check it everyday. On Feb. 15, 2021 I found the package (Letter & CD) in my mailbox after having been returned for postage due of $2.40. The metered postage was for only $1.60 and not the amount I had been charged. I took the package back in on Feb. 15, 2021 and told the woman there ( The young boy was not at the counter.) what had happened and that I was very displeased and that I had used them to send disability reports, etc. that would be catastrophic to me if they had been returned and not sent as they should have been. She did offer to resend it but I declined and told her I would be using the post office from now on to send my letters/reports as I have to be as certain as possible that they are sent properly and in a timely manner. Annoying. I had a package that I was needing to ship to China and have it express overnighted. First they informed me it probably wouldn't get there in one day ( which why am I paying $240 for if they can't get it there in one day). I know if I had gone to a regular ups store it would be. Then they proceed to help me with it and none of the workers there could figure out how to get it to work. I was waiting for 30 minutes while they tried it over and over and even had to call ups and ask them. Even then they couldn't figure it out. A line was starting to firm, So the said, no worries, just pay is the $240.00 and then we will get this figured out when it's slowed down and we will call you with a tracking number. I said I didn't know that I wanted to do that and she assured me it would be fine and go out today. So I paid the $240.00 and they had the slip on it that had all the info I had filled out to ship to China and it included my phone number. She doubled checked to make sure my phone number was on it and so I left. I waited all day and no call, so called back right before they closed and no answer. So I called back this morning and she answers and says she super busy with a customer, I told her, well I paid $240 yesterday to have something overnighted and you assured me it would go out and told me you would call me back with a tracking number. She said.. Oh yes sorry, we got busy, we did get it shipped off but then couldn't find your phone number to call you. I said, my information is listed in your system, I've shipped with you before. So not only was it on the paper but it was in their computer under my name. She told me she would call me back with that info. It's been 1 hour and still no call. I love to support small business but this is ridiculous. They had three people working when I went in and I was the only person in line until about 50 mins after being there and and then two other came and one was my son. They thought was a customer. The ladies working here are just wonderful. I love doing business with them. Going to the post office is such a hassle, especially with kids, but not only are there toys to play with here, there's a friendly dog! That has really made my shipping experience a good one. But more than that, the employees go above and beyond. My five year old was desperate to get a letter to the Easter Bunny this year, to let him know we needed him to visit us a week early. She dictated her letter to me, made me find an envelope, and when I suggested we just leave it outside for the "neighborhood bunnies" to take and deliver, she refused. She begged me to take her to "the doggy post office" as she calls it, to make SURE it got delivered. I called ahead to ask if it would be alright to "mail" our letter with them, and the staff was happy to help. They even gave my daughter a candy-filled Easter egg, delivered just for her from the Easter Bunny himself. Seriously, I will be a customer for life. read more

I am also a supporter of local businesses whenever I can be and I do not usually publicly bash businesses but I cannot let my experience with Parcel Express go unheard. I had used them once before to send a very fragile wood carving I created to a customer in Salt Lake City and I was pleased with the experience. The piece arrived undamaged and on time for a reasonable price but that is where my positive experience ended. The other day I brought in another carving in to be shipped to Texas, this time the carving was much sturdier and not nearly as fragile. The total to send this came out to $238 and change! I hesitated and even asked the employee if I could call later and put it on hold until I could verify with the customer if this would be acceptabe. She told me she was new and she would be waiting for the owner to return before it was packaged.I figured I had some time so I foolishly accepted the price, paid and left. An hour and a half later I had a chance to talk to the customer and I decided to call and ask if they could wait on the packaging process and was told that the owner had not yet arrived and I would have to talk to her instead.I called back 1 hour later and was told the owner had stepped out and she would call me back. Another hour passed and I received a call back from the owner. I began questioning the charges of the transaction which were highly elevated from the previously sent package and she began to try and justify them all saying it was necessary to ensure the item arrived in Tx. safely. I decided after arguing with her that I would be driving back to retrieve the item (a 50mi. round trip) and that I was appalled by the costs. When I arrived she quickly suggested she would refund the shipping cost ($170.75) but not the labor and packing materials($68.00) because they had already packaged it , despite my request that they should wait.The labor cost to pack this was almost 4 x what my last package cost . Yes it was a bit larger and maybe a pound or two heavier but 4x !?! They also charged me $17.00 for peanuts ! and almost $7.00 for one 8' x 2' piece of bubble wrap ! Her response to the labor cost was that she took an hour to do it and had to train the new person as well ,adding that she has been doing this for 23 years and she is a "specialist" in packing. She went as far as to remind me that if I had to go to a doctor and he sent me to a specialist it would cost more ! She recomended I do not unpackage the box as it was so "professionally" done but of course I returned home and cut it open immediately . I found the carving with the bubble wrap DRAPED over it and loosely taped. The box was filled with peanuts and 7 ,YES 7 Fed Ex boxes used as "protection" around the carving ! I spent just 45 min. cutting down the oversized box and taping it back together , wrapping the carving PROPERLY with the bubble wrap so it was sufficiently protected and re packing it into the new box surrounded by the peanuts . I went to another ,more reputable shipping store and they s ent the package to Texas for HALF the shipping price she was charging and also with UPS. Now I don't know how a 23 year "experienced professional" can take longer to package something and do a crappy ,half assed job but she did! I believe she hides behind her inflated ego as being a "specialist" to screw her unsuspecting customers. I could have packaged and sent this same package for nearly HALF of what she was going to charge! AND she packaged it up despite my request not to so she could gouge me for the $68! WHAT A CRUMB! I will never return to this store and I recommend you do not either, she is a thief pretending to be God's gift to the pack and ship business...If only I had read the other reviews on Yelp before choosing this scam of a business. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS STORE!! read more
