Do not move here! None of your concerns will be addressed, I sent this email to the property manager October 6, 2023. Do you think they've cared to respond? Of course not, they receive their rent every month. Spiders are hanging from the breezeways and when you ask for pest control that we pay for they say they are going to pressure wash the breezeways, that was 2 months ago. What's the point of closing the exit gates when the entrance gates are open? We let anyone in but it takes longer for the residents to get out. Rent elsewhere

The Edison Sugarloaf

I am current resident at The Edison at Sugarloaf. I have made the leasing office aware of hot water…read moreissue since move in 11/27/24. Claudia has been my point of contact for this issue and has been great at getting maintenance out but unfortunately the maintenance team has only been applying a bandaid to the problem. In addition to Claudia (leasing agent) I have even spoken with Alex (leasing agent) in office once. I believe I've made Laura (property manager) aware of this prior to today in person along with other concerns that have been resolved and still the issue continues. Here is timeline of the ongoing issue. 11/27- move in. Noticed unit has like warm water only. 11/28- reported no hot water to Claudia -Kevin (maintenance) came in and temporarily fixed(Result: raised temp set on water heater by 20-30degrees) 12/1- Reported issue again via phone to Alex in leasing office via phone - Jose came to fix by reset button on water heater locked behind maintenance door. 12/17- Lady upstairs has tub replaced and since then it's been issue consistently with our hot water in unit. (Not sure if this is related but seems like it) 12/19- no hot water (fixed same day by Jose) (maintenance manager) 12/21- no hot water (called it in-fixed again by Jose) 12/23- no hot water called prior to close of office hours (no response) 12/26- @ 11:43a maintenance manager Jose comes and temporarily fixes issue. Water returns 12/45p 12/27- no hot water 2am [called emergency maintenance # and left message @ 2am] I received no call , no reply via text and no follow up by afternoon. I went up to leasing office spoke with team. I waited over an hour for maintenance. They came said something was loose. There was nothing more the maintenance team could do. Only 1 guy knows about water heaters btw 1/2/25- came back in town. hot water out. I have 2 small kids my husband and self. We can't shower. Immediately reached out to emergency maintenance line - they never respond. I have to wait for someone to get in tomorrow. I have come to terms with fact I've made horrible mistake signing this lease. I'm very unhappy. Not to add they did NOT create enough parking. If you aren't home regular time there is no parking. If someone has a get together there is no parking. I pay $1700 plus to stay here rarely have parking and rarely have hot water to wash my families SSA! Would not recommend

Windsor Sugarloaf

Windsor Sugarloaf

I lived at Windsor Sugarloaf for over 2 years and I'm happy to share my experience…read more Staff - the management team (previous and current) are professionals and seem to genuinely care about the residents. Parking - parking is generally not an issue but if you park between the building and the massive construction your car will be covered with soot every day. Parking lots were repainted last year and is billed monthly (see fees). Walking - this was one of the main selling points for me. The circular track that surrounded the green space has been destroyed so that an eye center can be built. Now the sidewalk ends in front of our property and creates issues with no sidewalk. Value - just like many places, the rent here is close to $1800 for a small 650 sq ft apartment. My rent was $500 less when I moved in and was raised every renewal. Fees - do not rent here without obtaining a fee sheet. You pay a monthly fee to park, to access amenities, for common area upkeep and common area utilities and also for trash pickup. These fees are mandatory and in addition to rent. Privacy - the layout provides a sense of privacy if you have the right u it on the right floor. Entry level (first floor) is best b/c you're on a slab, no stairs and your deck is raised. Find a unit with a 1 as the 2nd number. Safety - I felt safe living at Windsor Sugarloaf. The people are friendly and many have dogs. I never had a bad interaction with anyone in over 2 years. I had several packages disappear but believe that was likely a wrong address issue. Common areas - these are mostly underutilized from what I saw. The pool and gym are immaculate and maintained. The pet area had a complete makeover and is great for socializing dogs. Not so great - Be prepared for all manner of inspections. I had no idea there would be so many people coming into my apartment on a consistent basis. 3 fire inspections in less than a year, air filter change, light bulb changes, fridge filter change, smoke alarm inspections, dryer inspections etc.... I had people come into my apartment whether I was home or not at least every other month. This may be a concern for people living alone, with pets or if you're used to privacy. I recommend Windsor Sugarloaf as a family friendly rental option. The construction is an eyesore and the loss of the beautiful green space between the complex and the street is unfortunate and may be a factor for some people. There is an abandoned (yes, abandoned) building next door that used to house seniors with memory issues. No idea what will happen there but pay attention because that building connects to the complex via the back gate and walkway.

My experience dealing with Windsor-Sugarloaf has been good. I am pleased with the customer service…read moreI've received. Tia doesn't miss a beat either. She's professional, friendly and prompt. Thanks to the entire Windsor-Sugarloaf team for your efforts - they've been greatly appreciated!
