Had utilized their services to professionally install home theatre as well mount a large TV as well do TV swap outs. Ken, the owner provided the estimate after seeing work which I requested for. Overall experience with Ken was great - clean, experienced, quality work. Would definitely recommend Paramount Home Theater. read more

Ken showed up on time but spent the first 30 minutes talking about the antique table saw in our garage and complaining about his wife. Then installed the TV higher on the wall than we wanted because "that's the standard". Talks a lot but doesn't listen. The Internet went out for 15 minutes so he didn't' complete the setup as described in his service. He just left with finger and hand prints all over the screen. Bought the saw for $120 but only paid $100. Came to pick it up and said I agreed to the height even though having not completed the setup. I asked what I should do to get it lowered and he just left. Should have known when All reviews were 5 stats and old. read more

Ken Came over on short notice and installed my 65 inch TV with a full extended wall unit. All the cables for every connected device are hidden in the wall. He tested all the inputs for Apple TV, blueray DVD, Xbox and Bose. He installed an electrical outlet right behind the TV so it's not noticeable yet accessible. The install went quickly yet professionally and at a good price. I highly recommend Paramount. They are better than all the rest. -Mark R read more

Paramount Home Theater recently completed a job at my new home, where they mounted 4 televisions, installed a home surround sound system, and had to run 2 separate cable lines underneath my crawl space and in to the attic. After receiving multiple quotes from local businesses, not only did they blow the competitors prices out of the water, but my wife and I couldn't be happier with the quality of work and how everything looks and sounds. The owner Ken was very easy to deal with and I was extremely impressed with the installer Cam, who after speaking with for a few minutes, it's obvious he is more knowledgeable then most people in this business. After setup and install was complete, Ken and Cam did a great job assuring I was competent with operating my new equipment, and even followed up a few days later to double check everything was running smooth, which it was. I never Yelp, however rely on the app to make a lot of my home improvement decisions. I felt this business needed to be recognized! 100% recommend. read more

After a remodel, our contractor recommended Paramount Home Theater. My husband had a long list of things he wanted done, including installing a 2 new tvs and wifi and hardwiring the internet to our entire house. Ken and Ryan were super friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!! read more

Ken has done a great job of mounting our TV to our tile fire place, which was not an easy task as tiles were on the bricks. Ken came up with different options on how to hide the power and cables behind the fire place. Ken is an experienced guy with knowledge about older homes and how to find the right places to drill and run the cables. He also mounted our home theater system next to our TV at a proper distance to get optimum sound. We really appreciate his work. read more

Ken did a great job. I wanted to keep Apple airplay for music in multiple rooms and install an AV system including a complex TV mount. Ken and his crew knocked this out with ceiling speaker install and also outdoor speakers all in a day. Could not recommend more. read more

We reached out to Paramount last minute for help with our TV and Surround sound installation help and they were amazing.. They were able to get us an appointment within the day and were very professional. read more

Ken is amazing! Punctual, Professional and Patient. We have a very involved system for our TVs and audio and he was able to troubleshoot, fix everything and explain it to us. We now have more features and he was so easy to ask questions and take his time with us. He has been in business for years.. very knowledgeable! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

Last week I bought a brand new LG 47 inch flat screen and I wanted to find the right company to install it on the wall with all wires hidden behind the wall and complete my home entertainment center. I called several companies and finally choose Paramount Home Theater. I'm extremely happy I did. These guys are real pros. They helped me set up my entire home theater from the sound bar to the XBOX with Kinects, and Blu-ray player. It was a perfect installation and they got it all done in about an hour. Amazing! Ken the owner suggested he could install a digital antenna to get over 50 free local channels. I feel the price was very reasonable and now after Ken's work I save $50 a month because I don't need to pay for cable anymore. I would highly recommend these guys. They are honest and offer a fair price for their work. After the job is done they clean up all the boxes. read more

I found Paramount Home Theater on a referral from Comcast since we had a problem with the interior cable wires in our new home. We used email and phone to go over our situation and what we wanted to install in our living room. Ken was full of good ideas and suggestions and we ended up with a beautiful looking and sounding installation. Ken determined the best way to connect all our gear (LCD flatscreen on LR wall, Soundbar, HD Cable box and Blu-Ray player) and the best part is you cannot see one single wire anywhere in the inside of our home! Ken and Cameron moved the furniture, laid down packing blankets and even took care not to let our cats escape. All in all, hiring Ken and PHT is one of the best investments you can make if you want a professional, timely and reliable install. read more

Awesome company. Great job. Could not be happier. Answered all my questions. So happy to have ken and Cameron to get me exactly what I wanted. Would highly recommend them!!!! My 72" tv hung over my fireplace is everything and more than I expected. read more

Great service. I used Paramount Home Theater to set up remotes in my home in Walnut Creek over two years ago and there have been no problems. Now, they are coming out again since I want to hide some wires and I got a new TV. I highly recommend Paramount. Thanks. read more

Awesome service, very friendly and accommodating. Backs up his work. Referred me to a great carpenter. Highly recommended.

We had Paramount mount our new tv on our brick fireplace. They also concealed all the wiring and had to drill several holes through some heavy duty brick. Ken and Cameron did a very professional job and made sure everything was working properly and cleaned up. read more

Ken Huffman and his son came over less than one day after my purchase of a new TV and soundbar from Video Only in Dublin and provided a fantastic installation experience. They had to manage removing a two-ton Panasonic tube tv out of a bedroom and out some steps. First time that had moved in 16 years! But their unique skill set was quickly sizing up on my installation area and my needs and did a fantastic and efficient job setting it all up and working through the various connections including making sure the soundbar worked in both xfinity and internet modes and getting me to go through the use of the three remotes several times once they had integrated them all so I am at least basically qualified to enjoy my new setup! And they are also very easy-going, relaxed folks with great sense of humor. So excellent experience all around. I definitely recommend contacting Ken if you have any custom installation work. Their expertise extends beyond home theater to cameras, wi-fi, projectors, and controlled lighting! read more

Paramount Home Theatre did a wonderful job mounting my flat screen tv and installing a new cable and electrical plug. When I had unrelated internet connection issues they stayed well past the estimated time to troubleshoot until everything was working perfectly. The work area was extremely neat and tidy. Look no further, you will be in very capable hands with Ken and Paramount Home Theater! read more

Paramount Home Theater was highly recommended to me by a friend who used them of home security installation. Ken and Cameron from PHT installed home security cameras in my home. Ken was quick to respond to my emails/text when contact him. They were on time and flexible with my scheduling. I felt safe and comfortable with them doing the work when I wasn't home. When I returned home they left my home in perfect condition, like they weren't even there. I didn't even have to worry about my cats either because they were careful to watch where they were working. They left me with full instructions and contacted me after the work was completed. I know that if any issues come up Ken and/or Cameron will promptly address it. I would also highly recommend PHT to do any job in your home. Thanks PHT! read more

We bought a home in Danville, CA recently. The Seller left a bunch of spaghettis running out of the family room and Master bedroom walls. We didn't know what to do or who to call. My realtor referred us to Ken. Ken showed up at the house right on time. We found Ken to be extremely knowledgeable; he knows not only what needs to be done, he also knows the approximate cost of all the parts. He sent over a quote the very next day. This was just last week. Today is Monday, and the job is done perfectly. His installer Cam deserves honorary mention as well. We don't know how long Ken and Cam have been working together, but they make a great team. As a business owner myself, I really enjoy seeing another small business owner like Ken taking pride in what he does. Paramount Home Theatre can run circles around many of the big name firms any minute of the day. Ken takes pride in his work like an artist taking pride in his creations. Great job, Ken. You are our man from this point on. read more

Ken and his partner (Chad) were simply fantastic. They weren't on time...they were 10 minutes early! They scouted the job, left no mess, and were in and out in 90 minutes flat. My 52 inch Toshiba looks amazing on my wall, and I'll definitely have Ken back for other jobs in the next few months. read more

I called Ken after checking reviews, he was local. My remote buttons had worn out. They came out promptly and sold and installed me a new remote and DVD player. A lot more than I was expecting to pay, but as long as it worked right again. After that my TV would at times all of a sudden loose its signal. We would have to manually get up and reset the signal. They came back twice and tried to correct. After they leave it would start again. They did not install TV originally so they became difficult and referred me to call mfg. I am very unhappy with Ken's attitude and now I am stuck with a problem I never had before. I will have to pay another installer to correct. Think twice about Paramount, things sometimes go wrong!! read more

Overall the experience was great. They did what they said they were going to do and the work was excellent. Clean and professional in every aspect. Communication was spot on as well. I really enjoyed working with these folks and I would use them again. They installed a total of 11 speakers (7 in one room and 4 in another). They ran Cat 6 cable and Coax. They also hung up a TV in a bedroom for me. read more

Excellent service! Ken did a great job mounting my TV above the fireplace. He was on time and is very friendly. I highly recommend him.

These guys did a great job, I had them mount my TV above the fireplace, no wires running from outside anymore, moved power outlet, HDMI, Coaxial and Ethernet cable, very clean professional work. read more

Ken and his team came out to wire my 5.1 set-up, mount the TV above a fireplace, and install an electrical outlet. They did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. Wiring for the front and center channels was difficult because of the fireplace, and even though the path made his job difficult, he gave me what I, the customer wanted - a nice clean look. I was also missing a wall plate for my subwoofer and a pair of HDMI cables, and he didn't charge me for them. Lastly, included in my setup was a pair of in-wall surrounds, which came out nice and clean. Importantly, they were very courteous, profession, and clean. Will recommend to friends. read more

After years of flushing $$$ down the drain with my cable company, I recently installed an Over the Air Antenna (OTA) on the highest point of my house. As I began my search, I discovered that not many contractors install OTAs. Ken from Paramount Home Theater was one of three contractors that I considered. He was also the most reasonable from a Cost perspective - which was very important to me. During the contractor search phase, I had numerous AV and technical questions about the job which Ken happily answered on the phone. My research was a 6 week process, primarily because I wasn't sure if an OTA would give me all the channels way out in the Tri-Valley area. Ken put my mind at ease in this case. He said - "Why don't we test it out before you actually install it, so you don't incur unnecessary costs". What contractor would tell you that today! He came out to my house on a Sunday with his antenna and tested it out. It all worked except for ABC (channel 7). On the day of the job, we faced another issue with a missing part for the pre-amp. Despite the fact that the reception was good and I was receiving all channels (including ABC channel 7), he left it to me if I wanted it installed. He hustled back to Home Depot, bought a new pre-amp and installed it...all because the customer wanted it. He also helped me in the setup of my TiVo which was in itself a 45 minute job. My project was unique though his knowledge in the Audio Video / Home Theater space is immense. I would recommend him for all your Home Theater needs. Thank you Ken - great job! read more

These guys installed cameras at my house. Did a great job. Have an app on my phone now where I can check them. They also installed a flat screen and surround sound. Would highly recommend. Very professional and courteous. read more

If you work with Ken and his team you'll have a very educational experience. You'll learn about how to manage his project, check for errors, find how to fix issues for yourself, and in the end it will be good for your soul and patience. If that's what you're looking for in your AV experience, then I can highly recommend their idiosyncratic approach to quality and support. read more

They installed my home theater system. It appears to be working fine but Ken Huffman lacks professionalism and is obnoxious. He is unable to concentrate and listen to his customer's needs. Each of my questions were answered in an attempt to be funny. He comments on my home's appearance. Either he didn't care about my business or was possibly drunk or on drugs. read more

I called the business on a Thursday to set up a date to have my satellite dish moved. The owner--Ken answered the phone very rudely and unprofessional. I asked him if he could move my dish on Monday, between 11 to 12 am. I gave him my work and home phone and also told him that I would not be home and if he needed to talk to me to call me at work because if he called my home my wife would not know anything about the satellite dish. At about 4 pm a lady called my home to confirm the appointment for 8 to 9 am with my wife. I had already told Ken my wife would know nothing about the satellite dish !! My wife called me to tell me about the call and I proceeded to call Ken to tell him I would not be home at 8 or 9 am. I reminded him that the appointment was set up for between 11 to 12 am. He said that he would juggle his appointments and he would be there at the agreed upon time. On Monday at about 10:45 am, I called Ken to confirm the appointment and he didn't remember me and told me he was busy installing some stuff for his brother-inlaw but he could come at about 2 pm. Well----!! Pretty amazing that after 2 conversations that this guy could not remember me nor the appointment time. I told him to forget it !! read more
