We had spoken on the phone, he understood the listing I wanted to see (It was a lot) and there were several others in the same community we could also see. He also sent me an email, and a text... Long story short; he didn't show. No call, text, email. I hope nothing bad happened to him, as it is like he was abducted. I sent a text before starting the 2 hour drive, again when we arrived, and again when he did not show. I called both his phones, sent an email and called the office (no one answered there either). The listing agent was available, showed us that one and 7 others. Our contract on a 100K lot was accepted that same day. At first I thought maybe he decided it was not worth his time (this one afternoon for a quick sale) because it was just a lot... but then I looked at his listings and he had one trailer home and one empty lot for sale. Neither was in a resort community, and both were extremely reasonable listing prices... So, I am not sure why he didn't cancel, or refer me to a different agent if he had a conflict. He simply didn't show and I've not heard from him or this agency. Realtor.com connected me to him, as I had found the listing myself. (I basically needed him to get us into the gated community, and write our contract). I don't know if he is a good example of this entire agency, but he is the only example I have...
