The staff behind the bar stopped what they were doing, came over and guided us to a selection of outdoor tables with a beautiful waterfront view! Paradise Tavern is a hidden gem in Palm Beach, offering a tropical backyard oasis with good vibes. We came here to try their new brunch offerings. There is a small parking lot out front. I can foresee some difficulty in finding a spot during peak times, so plan accordingly. We arrived before the brunch rush at 11:30 am and entered through the bar area. We were greeted by the owners, who were very warm and friendly. As we walked to the back, that's where this place really shines. The back patio overlooks the intercoastal bay. It was so calm and beautiful. Susie was our server and was so excited to talk about the dishes. My friend and I decided to share 3 dishes. The breakfast sandwich, the Wagyu steak special, and the chicken and waffles. All the dishes were amazing and served hot. The breakfast sandwich had chorizo, steamed egg, and cheddar cheese on a croissant. It also had an amazing tomato jam inside, which really elevated the sandwich. I highly recommend trying this! Next was the chicken and waffles. The chicken was fried chicken thighs in a smoky, Nashville hot paprika-tasting seasoning. The breading was on the lighter side, which we really enjoyed. The chicken paired with the savory potato waffle, drizzled with real maple syrup, was the icing on the cake. This is such a great take on what is usually a "one-and-done" type dish. Loved it! Lastly, the Wagyu special reminded me of a lomo saltado dish. There were huge chunks of steak sauteed with crispy potatoes, onions, and tomato, topped with 2 sunny-side-up eggs. It was served on a cast-iron dish, which made the potatoes extra crispy! The potatoes used were also unique. I believe some were purple or red. Overall, we really enjoyed sharing these 3 dishes with such a great view and gorgeous winter Florida weather. A cool 68 degrees and a calm breeze. My girlfriend and I went here last week. We sat by the water. She ordered the chicken and waffles and I ordered the eggs Benedict on an arepa. We had wonderful service as they were varied. Our food was very good and that was one of the best chicken and waffles I've had. The eggs Benedict was also very good, but the arepa was a little different than what I expected. We checked this place out on a Sunday afternoon. It's the old 'Dockside' spot for the OGs out there. Anyway the food was really good for the most part. Only slight stumble was the Pork Belly Sliders, needs more sauce or acid. However the fries were tasty. Wings were good and the happy hour was great. Skewers and Oysters too. Will definitely be back to try more!! Service was quick even tho they just opened and our waitress was very helpful and apologized for any delays, but the timing was great for a new place. So glad I finally got to try Paradise Tavern. It's such a fun spot with great vibes and an awesome happy hour, and I love that they include food on the happy hour menu even for the tables. My dinner was fantastic. I had the tripleta beef and pork skewers and the burger, and both were seriously next level. I've never had skewers like that before. They were so flavorful and tender that they even held up as amazing leftovers the next day. And that burger? Absolutely to die for. The bun made it, but the whole thing was hearty and delicious. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because my dinner mate said her fish tacos were a little bland. She had the cod fish dip, and the tacos, and everything looked great. Our server Suli was wonderful, very friendly and attentive, and she made the night easy and enjoyable. She had great recommendations! I'll definitely be back. Had dinner with friends at this new spot at the location that used to be The Catch. The outside deck overlooking the lake remains a lovely spot. Sadly service and food quality not so much. Our 7 dishes ranged from meh to terrible. The fried fish (fish tacos & fish and chips) were over cooked and dry, the fries were soggy. The pork belly sliders were so greasy and the "glaze" so thin it was barely edible. The ceviche was quite boring with red onion the only flavor that we noticed. The burger was unremarkable and I didn't care for the shrimp taco. I didn't care for the flavor profile of the fried cheese and spicy tomato sauce which was overpowering Service was friendly but not quite there yet. read more

Very limited menu, fish tacos, fried shrimp, nachos, chips and Salsa ( from a jar), and some other junk. The tacos were so gross, greasy and tasted like crap. Yuca fries, crap. Truly unbelievable! I needed to get my sister home or we would have left. These people should have paid us for pain and suffering! What a gross, disgusting place for food! This place here just a few months according to Alexander (but you can him Alex - like who cares) and I'm sure they won't last! I assumed it would be sweeter since it had guava, but that was not the case. It's more of a smoky, mildly spicy barbecue sauce. The food at Paradise is completely different from anything else around the area, I haven't found this kind of menu anywhere nearby. Everything feels unique and thoughtfully done. The ambiance is wonderful, servers are friendly and attentive, and the drinks are delicious. Green life is my go to drink. They opened a month ago but I don't think they will be ready in six months, they are far from ready! We were this past Sunday and we had very bad experience, it's a bar with pool tables and such and they don't have a draft beer, my husband order an IPA, they brought it in a can, he asked for a glass the server brought an small plastic glass, my husband talked to one of the owners and complained about it, his answer was: "is it going to ruin your meal?" What a jerk! he didn't apologize saying sorry that should not have happened! When we left we noticed the room by the bar was so dirty. To answer to him......yes our meal was totally ruined, not worth the $100+ that we spent! In another note there were not many people there and the whole plaza was valet! Really! My son and I went to Paradise Tavern yesterday during happy hour. We ordered off of the Golden Hour menu sharing several dishes to include the Brussel Sprout Salad (very tasty and filling), Corn Dog Skewers (don't be deceived by the name "corn dog", they are actually made with shrimp!), Paradise Burger (cooked to perfection with "skinny fries") and Dry Rub Chicken Wings with a choice of ranch or guava BBQ sauce (very moist and large pieces). Everything was excellent. We met the owner, Dan who was very welcoming. The wait staff was attentive and friendly as well. The most surprising aspect of our visit was the deck in the back, a beautiful setting overlooking a lake reminding me of old Florida. We will definitely return! read more

The location is definitely off the beaten path. But Paradise Tavern is a new hidden gem. Its an old building on Northlake. You would never assume so, but the back dining area has an amazing waterfront view. The food is very creative and it seems to be a new and creative twist on a bunch of Florida favorites. Think daily catch, but served in really fun and tasty ways. Steak and Frites with tropical steak sauces, and outstanding small bites like the Shrimp Corn Dogs. Service was friendly and attentive. They are a new place so I know they will be dialing that aspect in. Cocktails were all delicious. I recommend any of their margaritas and their green life cocktail. We tried Paradise tavern out for happy hour and were pleasantly surprised, the menu was beautiful and the food was amazing, the Brussel sprout salad was absolutely delicious as well as the paradise salad and the jerked chicken skewers. You can sit outside over the water and it's a cozy vibe. The service was great, the staff was helpful and friendly. The cocktails were ok, not the best HH deal but they were generous with their wine pours. I'd say the thing that might hinder us from going back frequently is the parking situation. It's valet only and they take your car across Northlake to park it once they are out of room. I realize there's a very small parking area, but I like parking my own car and want that choice. Probably best to uber there. Still worth checking out! read more
