i have been going to kbeautylab regularly for the past 5 months and have completed several…read moredifferent txs and wanted to write about my experiences. long review ahead! kbeautylab signature facial - this is a great intro facial to do to get a feel for the place and familiarize yourself with the process. the massage is amazing, i had so much tension in my neck and shoulders and afterwards i left relaxed and calm. potenza - ive done this twice and its a long appt due to the numbing cream sitting on your face for 20-40min. before the numbing cream though you get a thorough facial, neck, and chest massage. my absolute favorite parts are some sort of electromagnetic wand along the neck and shoulders. it does not hurt at all but wow it makes me twitch hella crazy and makes me laugh lol cuz i bet i look ridiculous! the first time i did the potenza tx did not hurt at all but the second time it felt like a bad sunburn that kept being poked. i especially love how they end the appt with an ice/cold wand. it settles the skin really well, very soothing. so 2 sessions and i can def tell a difference in my acne scarring, my face is smoother, the skin scanner says my face is brighter and my collagen levels have improved. pico - i did an add on tx in february for some dark melasma/hyper pigmentation that has developed around my eyes last year. there are several spots maybe pinky finger tip size that im very self conscious about. it was rec to spot tx it. so i got 4 of them done and had to wear a silicone bandage for 10 days. i did have to replace them all by day 5 but they gave me extras which was really nice of them. i will say though i was at first disappointed because it seemed like they got even darker! when i went back a month later for my second potenza i talked to them about it and they told me its normal and it will lighten up, just give it time, trust the process. and guess what? IT DID! when i went back in may (so 3 months in between) and did another face scan, there was a noticeable difference! i think it actually got much better by april, from a dark brown to like a beige (i'm fair skinned hapa). i just had to be PATIENT, religiously wear SPF and reapply every 2 hours (use a stick which is much easier on the go), and be CONSISTENT with skincare (i added vitamin C along with azelaic acid in mornings and tret at night). it's def not a quick fix, it's a long haul and it's totally up to you to take care of it post op so i'd like to think results may vary and so far mines going well! skin stamp - apparently this tx is suppose to be the most painful but i didn't feel a thing?! i got a massage, electro wand, facial, numbing for 30min and went to town with the stamping but i felt nothing! chloe (?) was very surprised and said i must have a high pain tolerance which i dont agree with, im a baby with pain haha. another ice wand and then i left with a collagen mask that she told me to try and keep on for several hours and then moisturize before bed. i literally just got this done today so hopefully i see some good results! all in all, i really enjoy the lab and look forward to every monthly (my choice) tx. i'm very happy with my results and i have rec several friends to try it out. best part is that it's in my neighborhood ho'opili, so convenient, no need drive to town!

Located in a residential area, google map made it fairly easy to find this place. When I arrived, I entered through a door and read the signs, putting my footwear on a shelf and used their house slippers. I walked up the stairs and there was a nice lady who provided guidance on what to do and where to go. I would have to say I was disappointed in my consultation. Although nice, the lady spent less than five minutes going over the consultation and didn't really explain anything other than to let me know to use sunscreen, take vitamin C and collagen and suggested anti aging addition to my facial (which I got) and pico laser if I come back (wasn't explained why). When I mentioned I made a last minute appointment she made a comment "oh you're the one." It kind of put me off a bit. I have to say though the facial was divine. I've had many facials in the past and it's been a while. My face was in dire need. The facial was so heavenly and my face felt soft, moisturized and clean and lasted for days. The massage was divine and left the place in a daze from being so relaxed. There is room sharing with another customer but she left shortly after I started. The ladies are very nice, the place is very clean. I will most likely come again, and hopefully get a more detailed consultation.

We discussed what she wanted with Marion beforehand and when asked, was happy to give me a fee quote before getting into the chair. She made sure my daughter was at ease and happy with the cut and lightening. After we told her we would be going to the beach these last few days of summer, she suggested we come back to finish off with the color, so as the color would not wash out as quick. Some salons I call are either fully booked or don't know how to really cut my type of hair (naturally curly). My hair was half way down my back, and I wanted it cut to the bottom of my ears, pretty much. I just came here recently from Cali, and this heat/humidity really hasn't been working out well with my natural curls. After an hour of being outside, I always end up with a giant frizzball. This was a dramatic haircut and I didn't want to just let anyone do it where I'd have to live with regrets (lol). I always pass by Amazing Touch when I'm driving along Ka'onohi, and I decided to yelp this place. It looked very promising so on a whim I called and the lovely owner, Marion, answered the phone and addressed all my concerns, and better yet, they could take me in 15 minutes! So I arrive and am warmly greeted by both Marion and Brian. Brian was my stylist for the day. Let me start off with saying he was just about the sweetest, easy-to-talk-to stylist I've ever had! I showed him the photo of the style/length I wanted and he got to work immediately :-) So let's see... let's start off with the overall ambiance of the salon. This place is super clean and really cute! The individual "stalls" give privacy between clients but still allows for a warm, inviting feeling regardless. Everything was clean when I got there, which was really nice. You can tell they maintain their salon very well. Brian started off with washing my hair, followed by a deep condition. First off, I know this may sound weird, but he was so delicate with his touch and did such a nice job washing my hair. I've had stylists pull, scratch, and wring out my hair with such rough hands. Brian really took the time to wash my hair and massage my scalp. During the wash, we conversed and to my pleasant surprise, I learned about his years of experience as a stylist! Major brownie points there!! Anyways, we started the cut, and he constantly checked in with me to see how I liked it. I already trusted him by that point, he definitely knew how to work with the natural texture of my hair so that he cut it in a way that worked with my face shape and accentuated my curls. So I check this place out back in November and great products I do spray tans only so it can get a…read morelittle bit sketchy and frustrating when trying to get an actual spray tan because of the colors or the splashing or fading etc. I like this place because if you came back the next day if you need to touch up it was free and they also called you that morning to see how your tan turned out and if you need to go ahead and schedule to come and have a touchup. Now I've been doing sunless Tanning for roughly 22 years and even the best one I've ever had I still had to get touchups done the next day. Yesterday I was able to go in now that they're open thankfully, and I got a spray tan done by Lisa who is great and he worked with me but I have tons of questions and can kind of be picky about how I am sprayed, and I don't think I want anybody to ever do it again besides Lisa. Between her professionalism and her easy-going personable attitude it made things extremely comfortable and for the first time ever I do not have To go in and have a touchup done. Now throughout my experience working with this place and the ones who work there, every single person that I have encountered has been amazing and very accommodating so if I could give more stars I would if I could give individual five stars each person I totally would and I'm hoping that Lisa plans on sticking around for quite a while because not having to have a touch of done the next day is amazing. On top of just my interactions with the personnel whenever I go there I also get my email updates that are not overwhelming overbearing, with awesome discounts and amazing deals, and personalize individual phone calls to check in with me on how my color/skin/tan is going or if I have any questions as well as to give individual updates as we were dealing with this COVID-19 situation.
