They have everything from Star Wars stacking russian dolls to vintage pub glasses, to the same old school dishes that I'm pretty my grandma had as a kid. If you happen to be looking for something specific, instead of the random kind of shopping that I do, talk to Poppy, she is awesome and seems to know what she's talking about, even if I didn't exactly. They also have these cool display tables that have similar products grouped together. The "robot table" is a delight. Vintage Hen is also part of Little Red Hen, which I'm sure some of you have seen around town, so it's for a good cause. They also sell their stuff online through an Etsy store. This place has become one of my favorite downtown spots.

I saw lots of beautiful, nicely priced furniture, costume jewelry cases, vintage clothing, soaps, chalk paint, and vintage household goods such as dishes and bakeware. Since anything I bought would have to be packed in a suitcase or carry on, I decided there wasn't anything I couldn't live without at that time. I walked into this lovely little shop that I've always been intimidated to go in because it's absolutely gorgeous and I always feel overwhelmed when I'm in there. Carol and Jenny welcomed me with open arms. They made me feel so good when I walked in there. I've been feeling a little negative about my body lately but Carol dressed me, and I felt like the most beautiful woman in the world just letting her give me clothes and telling me what looks good on me and I came home with a beautiful new wardrobe that I get to mix-and-match but the mother of the groom dress is absolutely gorgeous. I begged my daughter-in-law to let me know if it was OK to wear black. She's the one that actually picked it out for me so I'm wearing this lovely little number with a gorgeous Kimono sheath over the top, and I'm going to look absolutely gorgeous alongside the bride, the mother of the bride and my handsome son I can't wait! Anyway, ladies thank you so much for the best experience of my life. I've been feeling very down on myself and you made me feel fabulous today. Thank you again if I could give you 100 stars I would. If you have the time pop in say hello to Carol and Jenny and give kisses because they're the best! Thank you again ladies for a wonderful afternoon it was so much fun!!!!
