She sold jewlery, stuffed animals, cowsters (cow coasters), furniture, purses, light fixtures, and decorations. Prices for trinkets were affordable even without the 20% off storewide she was offering. Pillowcases with cute sayings were $25 cheaper here than another store in town. The cowsters were $4 each. She had extremely cute and lifelike stuffed bears for $40 (see picture). I highly recommend stopping by! Don't forget to check upstairs as well.

GO TO THE THRIFTY HIPPY INSTEAD!!!!…read more The owner accused me of lying and snatched the item I was trying to bargain for out of my hand and put it behind the counter. She has a bad temper and was insanely rude. Not to mention her cheap items are way over priced. The thrifty hippy has the same items and is willing to bargain and is selling for cheaper. Sad that an owner has zero customer series skills.

When we called to check and delivery they just didn't know. Lo and behold it had to be ordered and they had no problem information on timing. When I complained to the manager, I was told - for the first time - that if we wanted THE SAME MATTRESS it was $200 more for in stock items. So they have the mattress, don't bother to tell us that, and we're still waiting. As I said in my email to the manager, we could have purchased a mattress on line, but chose to do business locally. This is our thanks.

They were really hard to deal with on updates or letting us know anything. After months of waiting, we had to send pieces back because they were broke. After reading some of the recent reviews, I felt genuinely compelled to share my experience. I have…read moreworked with Home Outpost for more than ten years for staging, consignment, and purchases for my own home, and my experience has been consistently exceptional. I understand that misunderstandings can happen in any business. Communication can sometimes be misinterpreted. That said, I truly cannot reconcile the suggestion that Jen could be rude. She is one of the kindest and most patient people I have ever worked with. I consider myself fair and reasonable, but I also have high standards. I am very particular when it comes to staging because it represents a significant investment for my sellers, and the presentation has to achieve a specific result. Not once in all these years has Jen or her team shown frustration or impatience with my requests. In fact, they usually get it right on their own. And on the rare occasion that I ask for adjustments, they are gracious, collaborative, and committed to making sure I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome. Staging is not just decorating. It is strategic. It matters. And they treat it that way. I am truly sorry if anyone has had a negative experience. That is never something to dismiss lightly. But based on over a decade of consistent professionalism, kindness, and results, I felt it was important to offer a perspective that reflects the team I have come to know and trust. Home Outpost has been an invaluable partner in my business and in my own home, and I remain grateful for them. I would strongly encourage you to try them; I highly doubt you will regret it.
