Awesome antique thrift kinda store in gunnison be sure to check it out if ur in this town

This is a great place to go for furniture! The clothes are fun, too, with an organized selection of items to choose from. Fun staff, clean environment... The prices are why I gave it three stars. I paid $9 for a plain black cotton old navy shirt that had clearly been worn a ton (worn out arm pits...discolored), when we all know that at Old Navy that shirt was probably on clearance at $1 BRAND NEW! But supply and demand of plain black cotton old navy shirts I guess allows this? I needed it but felt sick to my stomach paying $9!!! Also, if you walk around and know the value of anything, the prices are just far too high. I asked a worker why and they said it was "vintage." No...last years style is not yet "vintage" Anyway, if you have the money go here. I will, for sure, if I need something. The valley has limited shopping...so no matter what...you gotta do what you gotta do. If not, cross the street and go to Pawsability...you will spend 1/2 the price, get twice the amount of clothes AND you're donating to a good cause. read more

After falling on the slopes too many times, I noticed the butt of my ski pants started to thin (I suck), so I had to get another pair. A local friend suggested Boom-A-Rang. It used to be A Fair Deal, but Boom-A-Rang absorbed that thrift shop, so now it's a thrift shop for ski stuff, winter clothes, summer clothes, books, kitchen gadgets, and FURNITURE (?!?!). If you go upstairs, they have a lot of cute stuff for around the house. They have a pretty good selection for the frugal shopper in me. I got a pair of Allyance ski pants, a North Face thermal, and a J. Crew sweater for $62. I had to hold off on the pair of Sketchers shoes for $10. What "A Fair Deal"! I really liked the old name better. read more

Owner has a temper and is quite rude! She has no customer service skills. The girl checking us out at the counter was lovely though!

Wish I had better things to say about this place! The atmosphere is fun, and the furniture is nice, but beware... This is no "thrift store." They call it vintage, but that's really not the case on most of their things. I give it two stars because they do have some nicer clothes that I would call vintage, but the rest of the store is filled with items you could buy in retail for brand new. Prices are high, but the people were friendly. Overall, I'd recommend Six Points thrift store down the road. read more

During a visit to Gunnison a family member suggested this store when I realized my boots were not good enough for the weather here. I fell in love with this store and the helpful woman who made sure I found what I needed. I do most of my shopping at thrift stores and I give this one my highest rating. I wish I could have this store in my hometown. read more

Fun place to shop for yourself and others. Great cowboy/girl boot selection, as well as Danskos, and sneakers. Nice brands, high quality clothing. Great dress up rentals and disco clothes too. Owner stayed open late for us and was helpful and very friendly! We had a great time. read more

This consignment shop is one of the biggest and best organized shops I have ever had the pleasure to shop in. The brands range from mid range to high end and the selection is worth setting at least a couple of hours aside for. They also have some pretty unique furniture both used and new at pretty fair prices. The other thing I liked was how friendly the staff was, they are quite a fun group of women. I will definitely make time to shop The Boom-a-Rang when I get back to Gunnison read more
