I have run my own boutique and have done my own buying for the shop- Not to mention over 35 years of retail management and I just love the industry... so Customer Service is my #1 (greeting & acknowledgment), #2 the clothing and choices, #3 the follow up and service... OK and visual matters to me a lot as well. So all around this shop encompassed all of the things that I love to be in a store. They even got me i to the fitting room even though I hate trying clothes on and I always know what I want without trying on. They were not pushy, but also continued to show me things that I would not have seen. We spent a good penny, and would definitely be back !! I am so glad we turned around and did not keep going. I walked in and was greeted immediately by a precious young sales associate . I told her what I needed. She let me browse and she and another precious associate made some suggestions. No high pressure selling. They reminded me of a sales associate I use at a favorite boutique at home. I love the fact that they put out one size of each item and not cram so many clothes together that it feels overwhelming and exhausting. I left with some cute things. My husband was with me and he was happy because they had chairs he could sit in while I shopped. All boutiques should do that. The price points are high, but it is no different than other boutiques I have shopped at in other resort areas.

I could start listing them but there are just too many...all I can say is that you're bound to find something! Upon entrance, you'll see that it's not a spacious store so take your time and go slow as you ponder your way through (look up, down and all around) otherwise you'll surely miss something incredible! The business owner, Michelle, is so personable (as are her employees) and she has such a passion for her store(s)...yep, she's got a few more in the quaint and beautiful City of Ouray. Directly across from The Blue Pear is The Blue Pear Men's Shoppe (aka Dude Shoppe) and Twig + Feather on the opposite side of the street further down the road towards the hot springs...those two reviews coming soon!
