She has a bad temper and was insanely rude. Not to mention her cheap items are way over priced. The thrifty hippy has the same items and is willing to bargain and is selling for cheaper. I said the sign says 50 cents she said oh thats for a pint jar. No, your sign says thats quart jars are 50 cents. She said well it's going to be $3 but today it's buy one get one free so that's good. A fellow shopper who overheard this said "these prices are too high!" as I walked past him to put it back. I mean, spaghetti sauce comes in these jars! This has happened repeatedly. Their inventory is not moving because it's overpriced. The back room is dark, has boxes of unsorted merchandise sitting, and it had rained so water had backed up into the room on the concrete floor. I'm not sure if that was just because it was the holiday season, but they did not allow anyone in the store without being accompanied by an associate. Once I was paired, the associate gave me a complimentary cocktail and started sizing me for hats. I did feel she was a bit pushy, heavily suggesting certain colors even when I shared my own preferences. As I started on accessories, I did not feel like I was being shown all of the options and only those with a price tag over $1000 (on top of the price of the hat itself). I took it upon myself to search and find what I really liked, but the pushiness of the associate made the experience less enjoyable and rather stressful. Overall I am happy with my purchase, but I would recommend anyone coming in to come prepared with the style you want because the process can be overwhelming otherwise.
